I look up at Denise and my lips form a smile. But it isn't a happy smile like the ones I've shared with her so many times. I kiss Denise softly.

There's a following moment of silence, and all I can say to break it is "Oh, how I love you" as if I didn't have a care in the world. Then I remember my plane is due tomorrow.

I force myself not to let Denise see I'm sad, but of course, she notices. "I'm going to miss you, Kristy Eliz Johnson" she says with a shaky voice. She never uses my full name, unless it's something serious.

But we both know missing each other won't change anything. I'm still moving.

I look up at the roof and swallow before I let out "I'm going to miss you too, Denise".

"Do you remember the first time we met?" I'm being nostalgic, trying to freeze time. I carefully grab a section of Denise' hair and twist it around my finger. "Oh, how can I forget? I was sobbing over some guy I don't even remember the name of. Then you comforted me. And by time we ended up as girlfriends". I send her a sad grin.

Suddenly Denise turns to look up at me from my lap, causing me to lose the grip of her short, mahogany hair. "We keep contact, right?". "Yes, of course" I answer, as if nothing is as easy as promising.

And even if it isn't until tomorrow I'm leaving, we both know this is the time we have to say goodbye.

"I'm going to miss you, Denise".

"I'm gonna miss you too, Kristy".

I take another bite of my chicken salad and look out of the air plane window. Mum, with her blond hair and slim face, looks worried at me. I ignore it. "Are you sure everything's okay, love?" "Yes, mum I'm fine" I answer, looking away. This moving thing wasn't my idea and I have made that clear since the beginnig.

My sister Maya is sitting in the seat next to me, blinking, signalising that this don't have to be so bad. Easy for you to say, I think, you're 19 and moving out in three months' time anyway.

Me and Maya is close but just as sisters. After all these years we can look back at a lot of arguing. I put on my headset and choose Adele, which is my favourite artist. Slowly I drift off to sleep.

I toss myself onto my new bed. I open my laptop and open Skype. Three new calls from Denise. Didn't I say that I was busy unpacking at least until today? I want to call her, but something makes me stop. It's just.... I don't want to right now.

I go through the new house instead. It has two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room and four bedrooms. When you enter, through the main door, there is a small hall with a staircase in the middle, wich leads to the kitchen. The door to the right is my parent's room. On the left is their bathroom.

When you go upstairs you stand in the kitchen. It has a kitchen island on the right side of the stairs where the oven and fridge stuff is. On the left side there's a dining table and a big all-wall-window. A sliding door in the end of the kitchen leads to the living room.

To get to my bedroom, I have to walk through the kitchen and living room (which have the same all-covering window as the kitchen).

In the end of the living room there's two doors. Right in front of you, when you enter the living room there's a door to me and Maya's bathroom and another one to my room. On the right is Maya's bedroom.

Even though I was against this whole moving thing, I must say the house is pretty great.

Suddenly my phone vibrates in my pocket. It shows a number I haven't seen before. Who is this?
