A/N
Hi, good news!! (or bad, it depends wether you like this book or not). I got this last idea as a good endning of the book, but it requires at least one more chaper to be written... yey! (That was supposed to be the good news...).
No, I hope you like this book and feel happy that I'm not done yet. As always I hope you are doing well, and I strongly urge you to send me a dm if you aren't.
Sincerely,
Me🏳️🌈

"hi" I say and dump my stuff beside my chair as I join Jack, Lillian and Wendy in the cafeteria. "Hi, I'm planning to host this all-exams-done-party at my house" Lillian exclaims happily. "Keen to join?" "Yeah, sure" I answer while I barely touch the food with my fork. "what is it? you aren't yourself today" Wendy points out. I can't stop, but to think that if nothing had happen between us the previous months, she would have made a joke about it. "no, it's just that..." I trail off, unsure what to answer.
The thing is that I don't know why I'm feeling all weird and funny. I'm not tired out after all the exams and I don't feel sick. And I would really much appreciate going to Lillians party. It's not that. I just don't know.
"Yes, you do act differently" Lillian adds, more confident and direct towards me than Wendy.
It's like the tension between me and Wendy hasn't gone back to quite what it was before everything happened. Wendy is being all careful when she speaks and she act like she's afraid I'm gonna bite her or something. But I have put things behind me, and I try to act soforth, but clearly she hasn't noticed.
"You don't have to tell us if you don't want to, but we're here if you need to open up" Jack says casually. There's still this serious tone in his voice that makes me trust him. I decide to tell things later. When we're alone.
"You were talking about throwing a paty weren't you?" I turn to Lillian as relaxed as I can, and try my best to change the conversation subject in a less obvious way. "Me and Lillian were going to buy stuff for the party after school" Wendy's face lights up. "you guys could join us if you want to!".
And so the conversation goes on. Jack is the only one who seem to notice that there is something odd about me, sending a carefull nod in my direction. I nod back as if to say "talking to you about it later".

When I walk into the chemistry classroom, this weird feeling takes place in my chest. Right beside my desk, is no one else but Megan sitting. I hadn't noticed she wasn't at school until now. When I think about it, she has been absent for a couple of days, actually. But why is she sitting next to my place? I'm sure she knows the desk beside her is mine, so it has to be a reason.
She doesn't say anything when I sit down beside her. I open my backpack and take out the chemistry book and the rest of my stuff. Silence. I start to draw stuff on a piece of paper to make the minuites pass by. It's 15 minuits untill the class starts. Megan still doesn't say anything. But I still got this feeling in my chest. And it won't stop.
Suddenly she stands up. Her chair falls to the floor with a loud noise. I can see people startle and look in our direction. But I'm not really focusing on them. All I can look at is Megans face. I can't really place what she's feeling, if she's angry or sad or both. Then her fist shoots towards my face.
And everything goes black.
