Denise texted me and said she was staying at her aunt's who lived in my town and that she wanted to see me tomorrow. I agreet to meet her at the Espresso House at thr only shopping centre in the city.
I ordered a Latte and sat down on a table not too far away from the entrance. She came in five minuits later. I could see that she clearly wasn't happy to see me, but tried as hard as she could to keep the anger inside and I felt a strong urge to get up and hug her. But of cource I didn't do it.
"Hi" I tried "long time since I saw you". What the fuck kristy, why did you say that!? Out of all the polite conversation starters you could think of, why did you have to pick that one!? Denise just smirked, but I knew she didn't mean it in a postitive way. It was ironic, like I was just a piece of dirt.
"Okay, to the point" she said slowly like she was trying to make remember what she knew I couldn't forget. "Is it another girl? Or a boy I don't know you like?" She continues. Her voice was so angrily, that I couldn't help but just look down at my knees. I was wearing a pair of jeans with holes on both knee.
"It isn't someone else and I don't understand why you're so mad about that? Technically, we broke up when I left." Is the first thing I say to her.
"You clearly don't understand, Kristy. Yes, we broke up, but we still promised to be friends. You didn't call me once, Kristy. Not once. Do you have any idea of how it must have felt for me? No, cause you were probably too bussy making new friends. Why should you keep the one you already had? Particularily since she wasn't your girlfriend anymore."
Denise looked at me with so much hatred, I'm sure she could kill me with her eyes only. "I'm sorry, okay? I promise that we can hang out more often from now on" I try. "It still isn't an appologize for what you did, and maybe stil do. I'm hurt Kristy and that is not the way to mend my broken heart." I can't say anything to that and remain silent. But then, She asks me the only question I didn't want to her to ask. Especially not again.
"So, is it a boy or a girl?" She didn't smile or anything and I know for sure that she's completely serious. "Uhm..." I don't wanna tell her. She's gonna be devastated. "It's no one, you don't need to know". "No please tell me. I'd love to know who has replaced me" she says saecastically. "No" I mutter. "You completely left me and now you want tell me who's the reason. You are the best friend -and ex girlfriend- I have ever had" Denise is completely serious again. "I-" I tried to say, but she interupted me. "You know what? Forget it, I don't wanna listen to your exuses and appologies anymore. Nothing can make up for what you did. Nothing".
She collects her shopping bags and leaves me alone.

Sorry for being inactive on this book, but I'm writing another one in nowegian (sorry). The other reason that I haven't updated in a while is that no one has read part 15 yet, and it's 10 days since I posted it. It hurts me. If you don't like this book, tell me why and maybe come up with ideas to what can happen next (even if some of it is already planned).
I haven't edited this part. Again, I'm sorry.
See ya (I hope)Me😘
