I woke up and I was in a car. I looked to my side and saw Marciello driving.

"Am I dead?", I asked him. I didn't understand how he was here with me.

"No bebé, your very much alive. As I am too," he said, focusing on the road.

"You faked your death?," I asked him, feeling anger boil inside of me.

"Don't get mad at me bebé. I thought I was really going to die, but when they brought me into the room they did nothing to me and they let me out," he said.

"What have you been doing for these past few weeks then?", I asked him.

"I've been setting up our lives somewhere else," he said.

"You couldn't have at least tell Chilé to let us know. The kids and I cried over you so much and you weren't even dead. That's really fucked up Marciello," I told him.

"Chilé doesn't even know bebé. I told you it just happened so fast and I'm sorry. I really don't want to fight with you. We haven't seen each other in two years," Marciello said.

"You're right. I'm sorry," I told him.

"Why were you in the hospital?", Marciello asked.

"I had to have surgery on my breast," I said.

"Did you get implants?", He asked smirking.

"No, you'll just have to deal with my itty bitty titties. I had to get a lump from my breast removed because it was cancerous," I told him.

"Why didn't you tell me?!", He asked me.

"Well excuse me for thinking that you were dead!", I said to him.

"Where's the kids?", Marciello asked.

"They are with Chilé," I told him.

"You guys have been getting awfully close," Marciello commented.

"Don't start. Nothing happened between us," I said, rolling my eyes.

"So you was loyal? That means a lot to me, I didn't feel like having to kill someone," he said as we pulled up at Chilé 's place.

"We got out the car and rung Chilé 's doorbell.

He answered the door and I heard the kids running around and yelling.

"Holy shit! You're alive," Chilé said as he looked at Marciello.

The kids came out and ran over to Marciello.

"We missed you, daddy!," they said, hugging him.

''I missed you guys too," he said, hugging them back.

"Thanks for everything Chilé. Take care of the mafia, here's everything you'll need," Marciello said, grabbing a big briefcase out the car.

"Your really giving up the mafia?", I asked him shocked.

"Yes, I want our kids to do better than this and I know in order for them to I have to live by example," Marciello said.

"This has got to be a dream," I said.

"It's not, being in jail helped me get my priorities right. I love you guys very much and I don't want you guys to go through anything like this again," Marciello said.

I felt myself smiling. Finally after all these years, I got what I wanted.

"So where are we going now?", I asked Marciello.

"Canada, it seems like a nice place and with the possibility of Donald Trump becoming president we better go," Marciello said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Canada? Where that's at?", Matteó asked him.

"In another country, but we'll still be on the same continent," I told him.

"I got to learn another language. I barey know ingles," Dakota said, pouting.

"No baby, they speak English there too," I told her.

We thanked Chilé one more before we left and got on Marciello's airplane.

As we rose in the sky, I knew everything would be alright.

For now at least...

What do you guys think?

Do you want some chapters on them adjusting to life in Canada. Or would you just prefer an epilogue? Let me know.

Btw if you're in an abusive relationship it usually doesn't end like this. It usually ends in death. Men rarely change so please get out of it. This is fiction remember that.
