I sat in the couch with a bowl of ice cream and skittles skipping through the channels. Emily was asleep I couldn't have a decent conversation with the security they just nodded they didn't even smile. Emily was asleep so I had nothing to do other than read or watch TV. The refrigerator was stocked with every type of food, but food wasn't going to make the boredom go away. So I was left with television.

The television had every channel but none caught my eyes. I kept surfing the channels there was a picture of Ethan and I so I stopped and listened.

"It has been said that Ethan Bakersfield and Cassabelle Johnson are finally tying the knot. It had been reported that the couple are finally engaged to be married..." how do they know that we just told his family. Don't these people have a life? Didn't they think that people needed privacy? They are pest in our lives. Did Ethan see this? My hands were cold and numb, the bowl slipped from my fingers and crashed on the marble floor.

"Shit." I whispered. There was a loud sound of the door slamming I jumped in fright.

"Ms. Johnson are you alright?" One of the bulky securities asked. "We heard a loud crash." How did they hear that? Did they have super hearing?

"The bowl just fell from my hands." I explained picking up the pieces of shared glass. "How did you get here so fast?" I questioned.

"We are never far. It's our duty to keep you safe." He said looking around the place. They are always keeping me safe, don't they have family's aren't they hungry? And why do I need 5 security guards? That's just insane.

"Don't you guys have families?" I asked picking up the last piece of glass. His face was so serious I was afraid he might go hostile on me.

"We do but we get days off to see our family." He answered seriously. He looked like he had been in the army.

"Were you in the army?" I asked.

"We all are army retirees."

"So you guys aren't on steroids." I thought out loud. I looked at his face there was a little smile appearing. "I didn't mean it like that it's just that you guys are thick..." I must have sounded like a fool trying to explain. "But now I know why." I finished.

"It's okay." He said with a smile.

"Are you guy's hungry? Well it doesn't matter I'm not taking no for an answer." I said and got the bread, vegetables and meat kind. If they were going to be protecting me I might as well feed them. He had gotten a call and left to answer it, I needed to ask him his name.

I made 10 sandwiches for the security. I gave each of them two sandwiches and allowed them to get back to their work. I was back in the house and boredom has stricken again. The TV had nothing interesting going on. I turned it off and went to check on Emily again. She was asleep with her mouth slightly open. I went to my room with the intention of reading 'Wanted wife and mother.' I ended up in the tub filled with bubbles.

"Hey you can't fall asleep in the tub." I heard the familiar voice say. Ethan. Apparently I had drifted off in sleep.

"Didn't you have a meeting?" I asked slowly opening my eyes.

"I'm the boss. I just told them to get to the point." His green eyes roamed the tub. "Plus I was getting hungry..." he eyed me biting his lip.

"Want me to make you something?" I asked him but he was preoccupied scoping me in the tub. "Want me to make you something?" I repeated the question.

"Mhmm." He said.

"Can you hand me the towel please?" I asked pointing to my white towel that was hanging on the rack. He had an evil smirk on.
