"You can't dictate to me what to wear Ethan." I was almost yelling. Ethan had come at exactly 10 as he said. He was in his blue jeans and t shirt I guess he was going for a simple look, but he was far from simple. He had money written all over him, he was like a walking bank but he was really sexy. He came in the house and saw me in my shorts, a simple green shirt and my hair caught in a tight ponytail. He was furious about my shorts saying they were too short but that's why they are called shorts.
"They are exposing too much skin." He flared. I folded my arms and stared at him for a few seconds he was so possessive and overprotective.
"I said no." My voice was calm. He stood there shocked at my boldness. Did we just cross the line?
"What do you mean 'no'?" He asked.
"The opposite of yes. I will not change my shorts, it's what I found so it's what I'm wearing and I like them they are breezy." My arms were still folded.
"Arguing with you is pointless, you're so stubborn." He ruffled his hair. Does this mean he surrenders? I smirked I was getting better at arguing with him I was winning.
"Thank you for respecting my decision." I smirked. Nanana I won.
"Yea, yea whatever." He's a sore loser.
"So shall we go now?"
"Yes, you carry her and I carry the bag." He took up the bag and I took up Emily.
"What about food?" I asked.
"I have a basket." He replied simply opening the door for me to leave. He was such a gentleman when he was in the mood. We walked to his car, he opened the door for me but there was a man in the front. I remember him he the man from the bar, I looked at him with a puzzled expression.
"He's my body guard."
"I have never seen him at the office."
"He's always there, but you just don't notice him." I slid into the car and he slid in beside me. The man started to drive the car, I cradled Emily in my arms and Ethan had his arm around my shoulder. We were in the car for only few minutes and I was so comfortable in his arms that I let my head rest on his shoulder. He smells so nice. The car came to a stop, I looked through the window and saw that we were now at the park. The grass, trees were green and beautiful. He opened the door sliding out I followed behind him, he went to the back and took out the basket.
"Follow me." He said. I walked behind him slowly. He stopped under a tree that would give us enough shade, he opened the basket and took out picnic blanket spreading it on the grass. I watched him as he made sure it was neat enough. He's a perfectionist. He looked at me and smiled maybe I said it loud. He took Emily so that I could sit. I sat down on the blanket my legs folded underneath me. I looked around seeing other families laughing and playing with each other I felt jealous. Will Ethan and I be like that? I looked at a couple laughing and talking without a care in the world. I sighed drummed my fingers on my bare thighs, I turned around to see Ethan looking at me.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing." I lied.
"Come on tell me." He had taken a blanket from Emily's bag and spread it out and laid her on it. She was just laying still her blue eyes looking at me.
"Tell me what you were thinking." His hand on my thigh. Does he know what he does to me? I feel my face blushing. He smiled at me in amusement he knows what he does.
