I curled in a ball with the sheets over my head. I had told Beatrix to stay because I wasn't feeling well. I had put a do not disturb sign on my door I wanted to be left alone. I had pull out my ponytail and let it go freely. There was a knock on the door. Can't they read it says do not disturb.
"Can't you read? It's says do not disturb." I snapped. I wasn't in the talking mood I wanted to be left alone.
"Belle?" Ethan's voice asked. I didn't want him to see me in my awful state my hair all over the place.
"Leave me alone." I yelled. He won't leave.
"I can't do that." He said opening the door.
"Get out." I threw a pillow at him.
"No."
"I don't want you to see me like this." I mumbled. I covered my face.
"You don't look bad." He sat on the bed pulling the cover away.
"You're lying." I tightened my grip on the covers.
"I'm not. Come on let me see your face." He pulled harder on the covers.
"Can't you just leave me alone? Normal men find this gross." My eyes were on him.
"I'm not a normal man." He smirked.
"I know I just want to be left alone."
"Alright." He got off the bed and walked through the door closing it. He gave up that's the first. I wanted to pee but moving was excruciating. I really got to go, I slowly moved off my bed in my baggy pants and shirt I made my way to my broken bathroom. I peed and dragged myself back to my room the door was open. Don't these people read?
"I said do not disturb." I pushed the door open to find Ethan with a tray with pills and food and cloth on it.
"Come on I'm going to take care of you." He smiled.
"No you're not."
"It wasn't an opinion it's a fact." He was serious. Why can't he take no for an answer. I wasn't in the mood for an argument, so I threw my hand in the air in frustration.
"Fine then." I rolled my eyes.
"Now lay down." He ordered I lay in the bed and he placed the tray on a table.
"What are you going to do?" I asked.
"There are a lot of things I could do." He smirked.
"What's the cloth for?"
"It's a hot cloth to put on your stomach, now take off your shirt." He ordered.
"Moving hurts." I told him.
"Lift your arms." He said and I did he drew the shirt off his fingers brushing against my skin. He put the warm cloth on my stomach it was soothing.
"How does it feel?"
"It feels soothing."
"Did you take pills?"
"Yes I took a lot."
"Alright just lay still with this on your stomach."
"Okay, but why didn't you come to work?"
"I didn't feel like it today." He shrugged his shoulder.
"Oh why did you look up the menstrual cycle I don't know if I should be flattered or embarrassed?"
"I don't know I heard that it was painful and I don't like seeing you in pain." How ironic is it and he is the reason for my pain both emotionally and physically. He is really confusing hard to know. The pain was gone and I felt at ease.
