"Delilah do you want to marry?" Brendon comes in the living while I'm watching Tv, asking a weird idiotic question.
"What?" I ask with a laugh, confused.
"Are you sure you want to marry me?"
"Of course Bren...I love you, whats wrong?" I ask, sitting up, my attention all on him.
"I just want to make sure this is what you want, not just for right now, in years to come I don't want you to wake up change your mind" he explains. I stand up and take his hand sitting him on the chair, I sit on his lap and take his chin in my hand.
"Bren...to be honest, I didn't think I wanted to get married until I was in my late 20s or even 30s but then I met you, thats when I knew that it didn't matter how old I was or how long we were together, as long as I could be with you forever. In 20 or 30 years I'm still gunna want to be right here, sitting on your lap looking you in the eyes and saying I love you, youre it for me...I hadn't dated anyone for 4 years before you and if I could go back and wait 4 more years I would as long as I knew you were going to be the one I ended up with. People think I'm young and stupid and that maybe this is a mistake but I don't think it matters how old you are to find your soul mate...its you and it always will be, I know exactly what I want and its you...forever" I finish my speech, he reaches his head up and kisses my lips softly.
"Thats all I needed, I love you so much" he smiles.
"I love you too Bren. In other news...youre looking at the new assistant for a Mr. Wentz at Pepsi advertising." I stand and show myself off.
"You got the job?!" He asks jumping up. "I'm so happy for you" he hugs me tightly.
"I start monday...I'm super excited" I smile widely.
"Awesome, so have you started wedding plans yet?" He asks, gliding his hands up and down my arms.
"Do you count looking for a cheap wedding planner?" I joke but I am actually serious, they are so expensive.
"Well why don't we just do it, we have over a year to plan...that way we cut out the price." He points out.
"Yeah but now we both have jobs, I just wanted some help from someone who has experience." I shrug.
"How about mom?"
"Shes all the way back in LA. She isn't going to want to come all the way here to Phoenix" I groan.
"She might. She's always wanted me to get married." He explains and I shrug.
"I dont know, I would love to get a head start but I don't know where to begin." I sit down on the couch.
"How about the dress? I want you to feel like a princess because you're my princess." He sits next to me.
"Okay...I'll grab Beth and Becky and we'll go tomorrow." I nod. Thank god I have him to help me, I'd be so lost.
"Alright...I'll be in the bedroom working on stuff" he kisses my forehead and walks out.

2 hours later
Brendon hasn't come out in a while, maybe I should check on him. I stand up and walk upstairs and go through the bedroom door, to find him passed out under the covers looking as sleepy as ever, then I realize he has a hundred photos of me sleeping, its my turn. I pull my phone from pocket and snap a photo of him in his sleepy glory.
"Wh-what?" He asks in his sleep and his eyes flutter open. "D?" He asks with his cute, confused sleepy voice. "What are you doing?" He asks.
"Nothing sweetums, go back to sleep" I say in a sing song voice.
"Did you just take a picture of me, sleeping?" He wakes up a bit more, I follow his gaze to my phone with the last picture I took open, the one I just took and I smile innocently.
"Noo" I put my phone behind my back.
"You did" he smiles sitting up, grabbing my wrist.
"You just looked so cute and sleepy and plus you have dozens of me sleeping and you tweeted them" I accuse.
"Give me your phone D" he orders.
"No" I shake my head. He pulls me on top of him and reaches around to grab it but I throw my hand in the air to keep it from him.
"Delilah Jackson!" He shouts.
"I dont think you've called my full name since roll call in class" I chuckle. "...Mr. Urie" I smirk, proud of what I just said.
"How. Dare. You" he pretends to be upset.
"Let me keep it!" I groan.
"Fine..." he huffs, laying back down and looking up at me. "I just realized you're soon going to be Mrs. Delilah Urie. I like it" he nods.
"Oh, you just realized that? Not when you were proposing?" I raise my eyebrow.
"I was too in the moment to think about anything but your answer. I kept thinking you were going to say no" he shrugs.
"Why would you think that?" I look at him confused.
"I dont know, its like before, you're just...young I guess. I wasn't sure if thats what you wanted"
"Bren...I know I'm young but I want you...yeah sure some people get married way later but those people aren't lucky enough to meet the love of their life at a young age" I explain. Without a word, he pulls himself up and kisses me, putting his hand agaisnt the back of my head, I hold on to his chin with my thumb and forefinger.
"How did I get so lucky?" He questions when he pulls away.
"Same here?" I ask.
"We're just two lucky people I guess" he pulls me down to lay with him, cuddling me under him.
"I love you" he whispers.
