Chapter 34

"And so, we graduate and move on with our lives, no longer will we walk these halls, no longer will we say hi to the teachers that lead us to this day and even though it may seem sad, we must know that we finished our long journey and we will begin creating a better tomorrow" Beth finishes her valedictorian speech. Beth is my closest friend at the school and I am so happy for her. We met 3 days after I came here and we instantly clicked, don't get me wrong I'm still best friends with Ashley, I love her to death but Beth is a really close friend of mine too.
Everyone claps and she smiles, getting off the stage. She goes to her spot and looks at me nervously, I give her thumbs up then everyone stands up and we throw our caps up in the air. We all cheer and I hug Becky whilst jumping, then everyone clears out and I pick my cap up and go to the group of family in the back.
My eyes fall on Brendon and he gives me a tight hug.
"Congrats my little graduate" he kisses me, taking my cap off of my head and putting it on his head.
"Oh well don't you look cute" I smile widely at him.
"Guess who came to see your big day" he says, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I give him a confused look until I see Ashley and I squeal, pulling away from him and into her arms.
"Congratulations" she squeaks and pulls from my tight grip.
"I'm so happy you're, I haven't seen you since I left 8 months ago."
"I know, I can't believe its already June, how exciting... like where has the time gone?" she questions.
"Away" I joke.
"We have so much to catch up on, you wanna get some food?"
"Yes!"

"So whats been going on with the happy couple?" she asks as we wait on our orders.
"Nothing really...our 10 months is in a couple days, were probably not going to do anything for it umm for Brendon's 26th birthday we went to visit his parents, that's when I finally got to meet them, they loved me, or so thats what Brendon says" I laugh.
"They do babe, come on" he nudges me slightly.
"Well...anyways, when school first got out we went on a small vacation for a week to Los Angeles, I know I was out of school for a while before that but Brendon of course was still teaching classes but thats about it. What about you Ash?" I ask.
"Well I have a boyfriend...his name is Ryan." she smiles. "He's really cute, he has his own band called The Young Veins, its not a hit but I can tell one day it will be"
"I'm so happy for you Ashley, I'll have to meet him, how long have you two been together?"
"5 weeks" she nods.

After an hour and a half later we decide to call it a night and head home, when we get inside Brendon picks me up in a bridal style carry, placing my cap on my head and carrying me to the bedroom.
"Oh, Brendon" I wink, he nods with a cheeky grin.
"I wanted to give you your graduation present as soon as we got home" he hovers over me.
"I think its the best present ever" I reach up and press my lips against his.
"Tonight, I want to change things up a bit though"
"Yeah?" I raise my eyebrow.
"Go into the bathroom, there you will find something naughty waiting for you" he pulls away. I jump off the bed and pad to the bathroom in our bedroom and when I open the door I see a small Victoria Secret bag and I smirk. I open the bag and find a lacy piece of pink lingerie.

As soon as she leaves the room I pull off all my clothes except for my boxers and lay under the covers, a few minutes later she comes out in the lingerie with her all sexy messy and I smirk.
"What?" she asks questioning my smirk.
"I'm just glad I didn't pay a lot of money for that because I'm about to rip it off of you" I tell her and she laughs. She glides over to me and crawls on top of me, my hands going around her forearm as I stare at her whole body, she straddles me and then leans down to kiss my neck.
"D" I say, stopping her.
"Theres...something else I want to give you" I gulp. I've been waiting to do this all day, I'm so nervous but I'm sure I want to go through with this because I love her to death.
"What?" she asks, looking confused. I lean over to the night stand and take out the object.
"Delilah, I love you so so much. You are everything I have ever wanted in life, I want to be with you until my last breath, I want to grow old with you and raise children together but before that, theres one thing I have to do to start us out, we have been together for almost 10 months, some people wait years before they do this, some people wait until they are in there 20's but we aren't some people. Delilah I'm so in love with you so I ask..." I open the box with the ring and she gasps, covering her mouth.
"YES" she cries out.
