"Thank you so much for helping us, I don't know where I'd be without your help" I chuckle lightly as I look to Grace. She drove all the way from California to help me out with the wedding.
"I'm just so excited for my little B to be getting married." She beams.
"Stop it mom, I'm not little I'm a man" Brendon defendes himself like a child.
"Yes, my little man" she rubs his knee.
"Whatever...whats next?" Brendon asks.
"Have you guys figured out your wedding party?" She questions.
"Yes, my best friend Ashley is going to be my maid of honor and then my two friends Beth and Becky are my brides maids." I smile.
"And, Dallon is my best man, Dan and Kenny are my grooms men." Brendon tells her.
"Have you guys told them?"
"Yes of course" I say and Brendon nods in agreement.
"And your wedding date?"
"October 18th"
"Next year?" She asks shocked.
"Yeah...we just want to get married in autumn and it gives us time to get everything planned and get the money" I inform her.
"Okay...do you want to work on invitations then?"
"Yeah."After we went to a wedding place and picked out the most perfect invitations and got them made, we kept one to put in our wedding album.
They say: Brendon Urie and Delilah Jackson to be married on October 18th of 2017 at Boojum Tree. Save the date."Wow..its weird finally seeing it on paper." Brendon says, admiring the card on our way home.
"I know." I sigh.
"Its so easy to say it but to see it wrote down...its like official" he looks at me with a smile.
"Are you sure...this didn't make it official?" I ask with a laugh holding my ring up.
"No. Because at any point you could take it off and change your mind but with these, its like...all our friends and family are coming to our wedding because of this little card"
"Brendon do you always think I'm going to change my mind? Because I'm not, I said yes and thats never going to change because I love you and want to be with you. I want to marry you and have your children...I want to grow old with you and die in your arms" I tell him truthfully and suddenly I realize I have my vows.
"I use to think you would change your mind. But everyday it comes more and more clear that we are destined to walk down that aisle. Thank you for just...being you" he grins and then reaches over to kiss me.
"Oh, how adorable" Grace teases from the front seat and I grin cheesily.
"Moooom" Brendon groans.
"I still can't believe you both chose to sit in the back like children" she shakes her head. We both ignore her comment and then kiss again.
The next day
"Alright Delilah, I'm taking my mom back to the airport" Brendon calls up the stairs.
"Alright Bren, see you later" I call back whilst admiring my dress. A few moments later I hear the door shut. After I put the dress back I start cleaning up the bedroom because lord knows Brendon is messy as hell. After I pick up the dirty clothes from off the floor I see a notebook peeking out from under the mattress on Brendons side, being nosey I pull it out and turn to the front page.
My vows to Delilah.
I remember admiring you from your desk and just thinking about how much I wanted to be with you-
I stop there knowing I cant be reading them, I want learn what he has to say for the first time standing at the alter, I put the notebook back under the mattress and go about my cleaning.A/n if you didnt guess the picture is of the wedding, its an actual place if you want to look at more pictures.
