Banished

DIE!!!

I'm not sure what happened.
I just found myself falling for what felt like eternity and then I landed on a cold rocky surface.I blacked out at that point but when I woke up, I wasn't feeling any better.

I was now pacing the small room, which I came to realize was a dungeon.

I punched the wall beside me,for the 30th time. The word 'betrayal' rang in my head like an alarm bell.

I'll be honest, I hated Jason at the moment. It hadn't even crossed my mind that this would ever happen.

I crossed over to the corner in the room and sat with my head in my hands. now or later, I'd be banished,all because of my stupid mistake of trusting Jason.

I hold that thought, just to give me anger and make me feel powerful when someone unlocks the key to the dungeon. I look up to see a dark guard, by the looks of it.

'you are needed at the central room, so please follow me, without any tricks, if you please.'

It takes all my willpower not to strangle him but I follow him out,wondering what the central room is.

I get my answer.

The guard leads me to a huge room with a large chandelier in the middle of the ceiling, brightening the room.

There's guards positioned around the whole room and at the back is a throne sort of thing, with a man sitting on it. He has a black beard and green eyes. Beside him stands......the betrayer.

Jason's face shows clear panic, and he's dressed in a navy blue suit which I find un-reasonable.

My blood boils. 'you filthy little.....' I scream but the guard that led me here clamps a hand over my mouth and ties my hands behind my back, no matter how much I try to resist.

The man on the throne glares at me.'Silence!'

I gulp back an answer.

He eyes me with distaste. 'So this is the one who escaped banishment, and who my son almost fell for eh?' He glances at Jason.

Wait....... Jason almost fell for me? And he's his son, and that man's sitting on a throne so that means.......

Despite the guard's hand clamped over my mouth I shout so loud my voice echoes over the room.

'YOU'RE A PRINCE!!'
