Banished

prologue

The woman shakes her head.
'Look, I'm really sorry dear, but sending you to the world of banishment is the only option,the girl's parents won't rest until you're gone for good.'

I slide to the floor in front of her, my hands begging. 'Please, just give me one more chance, I'll make it up to them somehow.' Now tears begin to flow freely. ' I never meant to harm anyone, the bully had forced me.'

She looks at me pitifully and then wipes her hands on her skirt anxiously. 'I'm afraid there's nothing I can do, now go and pack, you'll be leaving at sunset.'

She's about to leave when I grab her ankle. She stops abruptly and glares at me, but I don't back down.' You have to listen to me' I say, trying to make my voice stern as possible. ' The bully who forced me into this is Samuel Grace, and he'll get as many people as he can to harm others, and I'm the only one who knows what he's going to do'
I say the last sentence as a whisper.' I'm your only chance' She sighs, frees her leg and walks off. I do all I can, I cry.

I am Midnight Carson,guilty of a crime - murder,even it was an accident. I killed a little girl because my own life was on the line. Now I am sentenced to the world of banishment, away from this world, all alone. Now I'll spend my life running away from it all, but I will never forgive myself.
