I woke up again. All I seem to be doing these days is running, sleeping and awakening.
It's about 5:00 am and despite the warm bed, I can't sleep at all so I head downstairs.
It was cold, even inside the house so I tugged on a sweater and munched down some breakfast, even though I wasn't hungry.
I'm just checking over our packs one last time when Mr. you know who, comes downstairs. I grumble in frustration.
'What are you doing up so early?' he says rubbing at his eyes.
' Couldn't get any sleep.'
He shrugs and begins preparing his own breakfast.
You know, I just can't bring myself to be as happy as I was with him before. I try but it doesn't work. I clench my fists and walk back upstairs, wanting to get away from all my problems....and perhaps getting some sleep too.

Before I know it, someone's shaking my shoulder .
Without thinking,(as I'm still half asleep) my fist meets it's target. I open my eyes to see Jason sprawled on the floor with a small bruise on his jaw.
I wince.' Uhh....sorry about that.'
He wrinkles his nose with distaste. ' Whatever, everything's ready and the others 're waiting outside to say goodbye.'
I push down the nervousness that churns deep inside my gut and force myself out of bed.
After a while I'm hugging my family goodbye, wondering if this is the last time when I'll see them. I refuse to believe that. I adjust my disguise and follow Jason out if the village, keeping out an eye for any dark guards.
' Today is Saturday, and hopefully we'll be at the mountains by Tuesday', says Jason.
' Does that mean we get tacos to celebrate our arrival?' I ask innocently.
He gives me a weird look before continuing waking on.
Oh how I really wish we could go back again.
