Oh no you don't

I felt too mean leaving the story on a cliffhanger, so here ya go folks! ;)

Jason cringed at the word 'prince', but I could see it took all of his willpower not to answer back.

I struggled against my binds, but the guard only held me tighter.

'Please' I said, tears sliding down my cheeks.'I didn't mean to harm anyone, I was forced into doing so'. I choke back a sob.

The king eyed me for probably the millionth time.

Then he said something that chilled my blood, as he pointed to one of the guards.'Matthew, get the portle ready, we're sending her to the world of banishment.'

I want to scream but no sound comes out. I consider fainting, but I'm not the damsel in distress type plus, they'd just throw my unconscious body in there.

'Jason, you will be the one to banish her, in order to prove your loyalties to me.' The king says.

Jason stumbles back.'Dad-'

'Do not call me dad, just yet!' snaps the king.

Jason gulps. He takes a step towards the portle, that just appeared a second ago, and gazes into it's depths.

Just then, a hurdle of brown and black attacks me, throwing me to the floor.

I gasp. It's the boy that Jason banished.

'what the-' I stutter, but the boy grabs my arm and runs towards a balcony. We're probably on a high storey.

But then I barely have time to blink, when he leaps off, taking me with him. I scream and close my eyes, but then I land on something soft. I slowly open one eye at a time and see that I'm flying on a giant eagle, similar to the tiger that chased me and Jason, but less vicious.

I wince at the memory of me and Jason running for our lives. I wish I'd known.

I glance at the boy in front of me and ask the stupidest question that comes to mind.

'Who are you?'

The boy glances back and smiles. ' I'm Aiden Carson'

I frown.' My last names Carson too'.

His smile turns to a smirk. 'you'll see'.

:::::::::::

We land near a small house, and I follow Aiden in without a word.

Then I see them. My parents.
I'm smushed in a hug, my mother's tears dripping onto my shoulder.

' Oh midnight, we were so worried'. Says my father. Well, wasn't that obvious. But I fell guilty for never even giving them a second thought.

I pull away and slide my hair behind my ear.

'so who's he?'I say pointing to Aiden.'I never had a brother'

'well, you see, your brother went missing four years before you were born ,and we were so broken -hearted, we never even mentioned it' says my mother, dabbing at her eyes.'

I nod and before I know what I'm doing, I hug my brother, well, just because I needed a hug right then.

' I'm sorry about what happened at Jason's house' I say.

He laughs.'don't worry about that, I have to admit, you're a good fighter.'

I turn back to my mother and father. 'how did you know where I was?'

'Once Aiden was banished, we lost contact with him and we guessed what happened, so we snuck onto the security cameras in the village and found you' my father says.

Parents caught sneaking? Best-parents-ever.

' And how did you escape banishment?'I say to Aiden.

He shakes his head. 'I can't remember.'

I stare at him, dumbfounded. No one's ever escaped banishment.

Just then, there's a knock at the door.

My mother pushes me behind the sofa, and opens the door to reveal.........him.

Jason.
