Lucy's PoV
I can't let myself get involved with him again. Otherwise I'll never get over what happened. I look down at my shaking hands as we walk down the road. "Lu, what's wrong?" Lev asks, everyone slowing their pace to match mine. "Don't let me be friendly with Natsu again, I won't be able to deal with it. Promise me you won't let me near him." I beg. They look at each hesitantly and nod. "You can count on us Lu." Erz puts me into a headlock. "He-Hey Erz, let me go!" I giggle, my smile finally returning to my face. "Come on guys! Let's get going!" Levy cheers and Ju grabs my hand as we ran the rest of the way to work.
When we finally got there, we work through the door, going under the swirly writing that read 'l'arbre de magnolia'. The place was already when we entered the petite store and the glass wall that faced the ocean was fully open, letting the warm, summer air fly in as people ate and talked outside. "Lainey! We're here!" I chirp as we all go behind the counter, throwing our bags under it. "Girls! You came at the right time, quickly get dressed and get to work!" My Aunt's slim, tall and flour covered figure walked from the kitchen.
Aunt Lainey was very different from my mom. While my mom was the younger sister, rebellious yet surprisingly intellectual, Lainey followed the rules like law and had the brain of a robot. While my mom had blonde hair and brown eyes, Lainey had dyed, dark brown hair and purple eyes, because she has an illness where she doesn't grow any hair, except for the top of her head, and is infertile.
My mom and Aunt were from a wealthy family, but when my grandfather died, he had pasted the company to my abomination of a dad and he left us. Obviously a gold digger. Lainey got married soon after that had created this shop, as she is probably the best baker in the world. Her husband's name is Mark. He has longish, brown hair and green eyes. Their adoptive children, who are twin, are Miley and Hayley, both with vibrant purple hair and bark blue eyes.
We nod to our boss and quickly change to our band uniform, which Lainey didn't know about. I threw on a boho style dress with the bit between my breath showing off, wearing brown, ankle high boots with a heel. Erza wore a black dress that had butterflies around it and black pumps, showing off her tattoo on her shoulder, a picture of a fairy surrounded by strawberries. Juvia out on a vibrant blue dress and heels, the blue water drop on her hip showing itself slightly. While Levy wore a pink with white polkadots dress and hot pink pumps, a small picture of three books stacked on each other, the top one open, on her left shoulder blade. Surprisingly, I was the only one in our band that didn't have a tattoo, let's just say I'm not the best with the memories I hold.
Mark had helped us sneak our instruments on the small platform we would call a stage, as he was in on the surprise. We were all doing this for their anniversary, as it was tomorrow, but we wouldn't be able to do it tomorrow because he has even more surprises for her. "This is so cute! I don't know if I'll be able to do this without squealing." Lev squealed. "You already are." Erz laughed, covering her ears from the high pitched wrath of her happiness. "Shh. We don't want Lainey hearing this." Ju hisses. "Yes ma'am." Lev sighs. I giggle quietly at me friends before Mark peeks his head from behind the curtain in front of us, that lead to the 'stage'. "A'right girls. Everything's set. Good luck." He chuckled and went back to the counter, where Lainey was probably waiting for us furiously, seeing as we were taking so long. "You ready girls." Turning to them, we make a circle. They nod back and we all put our hands in the middle. "For our friends." Erz smirks. "For our freedom." Ju smiles. "For fun." Lev giggles. "For family." I smile, looking at how far we've come since we started this. "For Fairy's Heart!" We all cheer, lifting our hands high in the air then hugging each other.
Suddenly, we hear two little girls introducing us and we run out on stage quickly. "Hi guys! Is everybody having a great day?" I ask, slinging my guitar strap around my neck. They all cheer back. "Well, it's only going to get more amazing! Kick it girls!"
As we're playing, I notice more people gathering around 'l'arbre de magnolia'. When we finish, everyone cheers. "Alright guys! There is a reason why we're doing this." Lev giggles through her mic. "As it turns out, our bosses, Mr and Mrs Trifle, have their anniversary tomorrow." Ju beckons for Mark and Lainey to wave. "So this is for you Lainey." I wink to her. "Go on Ju." I tell her and we begin, me setting down my guitar and grabbing my mic.
Throughout the performance, I go through the crowd and sit with some of the watches, bringing my uncle and aunt to the centre of the audience and making them dance at the slow parts.Natsu's PoV
"So, what should we do?" Gray states, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "I'm hungry." Jellal sighs. "Let's go pick up some girls." I cheer, finally having something to do. Gajeel just grunts at this and we run down the street, hoping to magically come across a food place.
Soon enough, we find a place that has most the people from our school, and our schools, going into a reasonably sized shop with two floors, the second floor with loads of windows, showing the customers eating, drinking and/or talking.
As we get closer, we hear music playing and some people cheering along. We walk through the doors, making the bell above us go off, and saw almost everyone from our new school, listening to the music being played by the oh so famous, Fairy Heart. They were in different clothes than from school and I thanked the Lord above when I saw them. Today only keeps on getting better and better.
