Lucy's POV

After leading Natsu to the high streets of Magnolia, we walk side by side in silence, me shivering in my thin jacket. Why did I do this? I sighed, my breath visible in the night air. Suddenly, I feel a heavy weight on my shoulders and back. I look around me and see that Natsu had lost his coat. I touched the new fabric on my shoulders to feel leather. "N-Natsu, you'll get a cold!" A large blush forms on my cheeks as I try to give him his coat back. "Don't worry about it, I'm always so hot." He smirks, pulling at his collar. "Fine." I grumble and put my arms through the sleeves, instantly enveloped in warmth. I sighed in relief, pulling the expensive material around me.

From then on, I found the experience more enjoyable. We went to a crepe stand and shared a strawberry whip cream, as I was the only one with money and had little left from the newspaper. "Ahh, young love." The owner of the stall, an old friend of Principle Makarov's, sighed as I took a bite out of our food. "What?!" I began choking as Natsu lightly patted my back. "Oh the joys of youth! Enjoy it while yah can kids!" He smiled and waved us off. "We will Mister! Thanks for the grub!" Natsu waved back, holding my shoulder as we went. "Why didn't you tell him we weren't dating?!" I shouted at him once out of earshot. "Why not? I dream of us being married one day." He pretends to look off into the distance as he thinks of a future. It was something I used to wish about. That he would return on a white horse and take me away from my crappy life. But still, it was only a dream. "Y'know, I was beginning to think you weren't that bad." I shove the food into his chest then take the coat off. "Come on, I was just kidding." He 'oofed' after I throw the coat at him. "Natsu, I'm with someone. Why don't you stop trying and leave me alone!" I argue and spin around, going some stares from onlookers. "Luce! Come on, I was just playing around!" He called after me. "My life is not a game!" I shout over my shoulder and storm away, any progression in any type of relationship we just made, flushed down the drain.

Natsu's POV

"Damnit!" I kick a nearby lamppost after Lucy storms away. "Ow, ow ow, ow ow!" I clutch my foot the try and soothe the pain. "Agh, I can't do anything right." I sigh, leaning my head on the same object I had just kicked and flicking the waisted food off my clothing. "Everything was going so well, too." I grumble, looking up to the sky with my hands in my jacket pockets.

Seconds later, my cell starts ringing. "This is Natsu." I sigh, answering it. "Natsu! Where the hell are you?!" Jellal's angry voice booms through the speaker. "Dude, calm it. I was just going for a walk." I cringe at his loud screaming on the other end of the line. "Just going for a walk? JUST!? Do you know what you've done?!" He screamed again. "Why? What happened?" I begin making my way home. "That little date with Lucy you just had! That massive fight!" He exclaims. "How do you know about that?" I stop, looking around for the wimp's blue locks. "Someone filmed it and put it on the internet! Now everyone thinks you're just a massive perv! The boss' phones are ringing off the hook!" He screams again.

Suddenly, I hear another voice on his side. A voice I dreaded most. My mother. "Give me that phone!" She screamed, Jellal probably shaking in fear as he gently gave it to her, scared out of his mind she might shout at him as well. "Natsu Florence Dragneel! What is the meaning of this?!" She screams, using my full name. "Shut up you three!" She commanded to my bandmates, who were sniggering away at my unfortunate title. "Mom, I swear it was an accident. I didn't mean to offend her!" I panicked, stopping so I could delay my arrive more than previously. "You get home this instant! We need to have a talk!" She announced. "I-I'm good here. Why don't we just talk on the phone." I stutter in fear, my knees shaking. "Natsu!" She growls. "Y-Yes boss! Sorry boss!" With that, I go top speed back to our apartment.

Panting in the door way, my mom pulls me by the collar into the house. "That's it young man! How many times have I told you about where and what you do with girls!" She screams, shaking my body like a rag doll. "But mom! It's not like the others!" I cry, animated tears falling down my face. "Oh yeah! And what's different about this one!" She stopped, staring me in the eye. "Um, Boss, it was Lucy." Gray butted in, trying to stay as much out of the way as possible. My mother gasped, her gaze instantly softening. "Y-You remembered?" She choked, hopeful tears in her eyes. "What're you talking about, how do you know Luce?" I question her. She sighs. "Remember already!" He bashes me on the head. "Ow." I cry again. What the hell is my family?

Gray's POV

After Natsu walked out, I got to thinking. Lucy? Could she be that girl that always hanged out with us. If so, that would describe about her accident and head pains. Maybe I should ask Juvia about it? Wait! Why am I thinking about Juvia? I only have you get her to love me for the game. Then why am I blushing? I run to the bathroom and hold onto the sink as I stare into the mirror. Dear god.

After a while, all of us sitting in the living room, watching a game of football, we all get notifications on our phones. Pulling them out, we find a video linked to us on twitter. Clicking on it, we see Natsu and Lucy sharing some sort of food, then Lucy throwing it at his chest as a heated argument grew between them. "Damn, Natsu really screwed up this time." Gajeel chuckled. I knew it, it is her.

As I thought about how I could've forgotten a girl that was like a little sister to most of us, Jellal got to door, bell ringing. "Where is he?! Where is that buffoon!" Our manager, as well as Natsu's mom, stormed in. "He's not back yet." Jellal cowered behind her. "Then get him here!" She screamed as Jellal pulling his phone out, almost dropping it on the way. What the hell is this family?
