(A/N I'm soooooooo sorry I've been inactive lately! I'm a crap person, I know. I'm not making excuses, but I was on term break and making a few new fanfics for kpop. So, yeeaah, so much for not making excuses. I feel really bad. But we're getting to the climax, so please be patient, I can't get all my ideas down 😅. Again I'm SO sorry. Now let's get on with it so I don't bore you all 😂)
Lucy's PoV
We got to a private air hanger with a jet waiting for us and Zeref managed to get my phone from my pocket, dropping it to the ground and slamming his foot down. "Hey! What the hell?" I yelled, instantly made more angry. "I can't risk people getting in contact with you. I'll get you a new one, my dear. Promise." His smile disgusted me, holding my chin in his hand. "How do you know I don't have all their numbers in my head?" I asked, stepping away from him as he chuckled, his men getting our luggage in the luxury plane. "With the injuries you've got, I'm surprised you're still in school. There's no way you remember them." He smirked, turning around and walking to the plane. I sneered. It was right, I didn't remember a single thing. Having the head injury, I'm very forgetful, I'm lucky I remember my name. I held my note book, secretly my songwriting book, tighter to my chest as I walk to the plane, taking one shaky step at a time. "Come on, we don't have all day." Zeref spat as he went to sit in the leather, expensive seats. I slowly walked to the chair across from him, as he had instructed, and put my book on my lap, curling the already messy edges through all the times I've used it. "Why so nervous? You're going to be living with your precious papa." Zeref smiled warmly, and by warmly, I mean creepy and cold. "Please don't ever say that again." I sneered at him and turned to the window, taking up as much of the childhood town as I could. I was already forgetting the house and what my school looked like. I wouldn't be surprised if I forgot about my friends by Christmas. This is the curse I have been granted for putting everyone around me in danger. I deserve this. But, through everything, I couldn't forget Natsu.
Natsu's PoV
At midnight, I was being sent to hospital. I hadn't responded to any further questions and they probably thought I had been hit in the head. What did she mean by what she said? Luce would never go with them. Voluntarily. Oh my god, what if they... My thoughts went down a dark path as I thought of the things they could have done to her, and no one would have known. Zeref had the power to do anything without anyone caring, and with Lizanna by his side, they could have killed her. "Why am I such an idiot?" I sighed, dropping my face in my hands as I sat in the Ambulance. Everyone in here with me turned in surprised. "I can't do this. Get me out of here." I got up, but instantly fell back because the van was moving. "Sir, please stay seating. We'll get to the hospital soon. Then we will be able to check you." The paramedic said as I stood again. "I didn't get hurt, I need to find her." I fell into the back door as the van went faster, probably bruising my arm. "Sir! Please stay seated!" The paramedic shouted as the van stopped, allowing him to get up and come over to me. "No. I need to find her. I need to know if she's alright." I scratched the door to reached the door handle. "You're mother is being to the hospital. If you wait for a few more minutes, we'll be there as well." They said, the door opening. "Luce, where are you?" I fell out of the back, tears coming to my eyes. "My phone. I need to call Gray." I pat my body as the sun raised in the distance, signifying dawn.
I quickly dialled, getting impatient by the second ring. "What?" A very angry, and very rushed, deep voice spoke through the fuzzy line. "Gray." Was all I could make out as the paramedic chased me out of the ambulance. "Sir! Please, we need to get you to the hospital!" He once again interrupted my escape. "Get off me!" I pulled my arm away roughly. "Natsu, it's 6am on a weekend, what do you want? This is supposed to be my time out." Gray grumbled once again, telling me how early it actually was. "There's no time to explain." I said. The paramedic, who had brought a friend, tried pulling me in the van. "Would you leave me alone!" I shouted again. "Natsu, stop shouting at your mom. Having to deal with you is hard enough." Gray sighed again, it seemed he didn't know, or didn't necessarily care, what was going on. I punched the driver, who had come out to help the paramedic, in the jaw. "I'm coming to your place now, call the others! And make sure you're not naked!" I shouted into the phone, breaking into a sprint as I escaped, using my poor sense of direction to get to Gray's place.
Once I got there, with many close calls of getting caught, I started banging on his room window. I climbed up the tree outside his window, that has a platform/roof to lower ground from it. After many knocked, the blinds rolled up with a clap, showing a topless Gray. He unlocked the hatch, letting me open it and let myself in. "What the hell are you doing here? Are you high again?" He asked as I landed on the floor. "I said I'm coming. Put a shirt on, I'm gonna puke." I spat, Pulling a shirt from his organised closet and throwing it at him. "Where are we going?" He asked, throwing it over his head. "I'm going to call the others and tell them to meet us here. You're going to check the news, it'll explain." I stated, getting my phone out and walking out his bedroom door, heading for the kitchen because I'm hungry.
After I sent out the message to the boys, getting a bowl of cereal in the kitchen, Gray came running downstairs. "What the fuck is this?" He showed me the report of what happened on global news. "Wow, you actually said the 'f' word." I chuckled, probably going insane with everything that's going on right now. "Lizanna really went crazy. What about Lucy? Does she know?" He panicked, slamming his hands on the counter as I put my bowl in the sink. Yes, I'm a good enough friend to clean up after myself.
Resting my hands on the sink's edge, I took in a deep breath. "Lizanna told me something, before the police came. Something... that doesn't sit right with me." I mumbled, if he heard or not, I don't know, looking out the window at the city's horizon sun rise. "What?.." Gray asked uneasily, probably not sure if he wanted to know the truth. I clutched the sink, looking down at the bottom of it, feeling like a black monster from my childhood will jump out and eat me whole. "What did she tell you Natsu?" Gray stepped forward, still one hand on the counter. I looked up at him, tears in my eyes, anger, sadness and worry mixed in.
As I was about to tell him, we heard footsteps coming from the hall. We both turned to see Lyon, his older brother, standing there in the thickest casual clothing I've ever seen. "Gray, we talked about this. You can't have your boyfriends over on vacation." He stated, going to the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water. "Go screw yourself, Elsa." Gray spat as he walked back past him. "I've got a girlfriend to do that, Loser." Lyon shot back with a smirk as he left again.
"Oi! Virgin! Your orgy arrived!" Lyon shouted from the front door, which was by the stairs, as he felt a burst of icy air fly through the house. Gray only sighed out of annoyance as I sat there, almost dying from embarrassment and laughing too hard. "I-I knew we were friends, but I didn't know you cared that much." I cackled, finding it hard to breath. "Shut it." Gray sneered as I curled over, my stomach hurting from laughing, and the running I had done moments before. "Why the hell did you tell us to get here so quickly?" Gajeel grumbled as he laid relaxed on the couch and Jellal on the arm as Gray and I entered. "We read the article. What the hell happened?" Jellal jumped up, running over to me. "We can't care about that now, they have Lucy." I pushed past him and stood on the coffee table, planning to start bossing them around like a general before an important battle. "What now?" Gajeel cried, stuffing the pillow in his face. It was easy to tell he had basically sleep walked here. "'We already have her'. That's what Lizanna said to me." I recited, trying to convince them. "But she was insane. There's no way that girl is right in the head." Jellal stated. "And Lucy would never go down without a fight. Doesn't she have mad skills in judo or something?" Gray sat in the arm chair. "And that Guildarts person is her step dad." Gajeel sighed, sitting up as Jellal hit his legs with a pillow to make him. "I'm telling you. I saw her before my mom called me to get home. I didn't notice, but she was obviously terrified. She said her and the girls were going on a trip. Who knows if the others were kidnapped as well!" I persuaded them in by mentioning their crushes. Yes, we are open about liking them, it's not too hard to see that, but we don't think we're good enough to date them yet. After abandoning them, that is.
They all jumped up, reaching for their phones. "I'll call Juvia." Gray ran up to his room. "Erza, it's me, Jellal." Said boy introduced as he walked out, telling her to get to Gray's home address now. "Come on, Shrimp. Pick the hell up!" Gajeel cried, laying down again. I decided to call Luce, but the phone was immediately cut off. Not available, huh? Please be okay. I prayed, looking out the front window as I begged for the love of my life to be alright.
