Chapter 5: Is Lucy okay?!

Lucy's PoV

As I pity myself on the window cil of our classroom, I look down on the entrance area of the school. While inspecting this specific area, I notice something, or someone, hiding behind of one the trees that make up a small forest. I try looking forward, but am afraid of falling to my death, since our class happens to be on the top floor of the building. I sigh and get up. "I'm going to get some air." I grumble to my friends. "Are you okay? What me to come with?" Lev stands up. "It's fine Lev, just need some quiet." I sigh again and walk out the classroom.

Levy's PoV

When Lucy goes out the room, I sit back down. "She's as independent as always." Mira chuckles. "She probably wouldn't be so distant when she's like this, if her father didn't leave them." Ju sighs. "But she'd still have the pain if she didn't do what she did." Ersa crosses her arms angrily and looks at a certain girl in out class, who 'happens' to be surrounded by boys. "God, I can't believe I'm related to that." Mira huffs. "You know what they say. You can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends!" I cheer. "Then, I think I made the right choice." She gleams. "I don't think I did." Ersa smirks under her breath.

As we banter back and forth, we don't notice the eyes, of a certain group, peering at us.

Natsu's PoV

As I'm chatting with the band, I realise Lucy walking out of the classroom. "Yo. Do you have the hots for her, or some thing?" Gray whispers to me. "No. She gotta body, but she's too moody for my tastes." I rock on my chair with my hands behind my head. "Then, why did you watch her walking out the room?" Jerral teases, which is strange from his normal behaviour. Because if this change of face, I fall back. The two tower over me with evil and mischievous smiles as I look up. "Come on Natsu. You can tell us." Gray smirks, turning back to normal and crossing his arms. "I said I'm fine. Now will you leave me alone." I get up and pick my chair back up. "I'm going on a walk." I grumble. "Watch out, flame brain! Wouldn't want to get your heart stolen!" My friends call after me as I walk out of the class room.

Lucy's PoV

Walking down the hall, clutching my head, I remember a certain memory of my childhood. It was of the day I fell in the lake. Strange, I haven't remembered that for a while. I sigh as I lean against the wall for support. Come on Lucy. You just have to get to the nurse's office, and your home free. I think as I feel my nausea and dizziness come back. Clutching my head with one hand, and pushing on the wall for support with the other, I try to get to the nurse. After taking a, very slowly, few steps, I fall to the ground, soon losing consciousness.

Natsu's PoV

After walking for a while, I start thinking. I know that Lucy girl from some where, but where?! I think, now getting irritated. As I walk, I come across a hallway with a strange thing laying in the middle of it. I walk closer and notice that it's a person?! I run up to their side and turn them over. It's that blonde chick?! I think in shock. After going into shocked mode, I pull my thoughts together and think strategically. I pick her up, princess style, and start running down the halls.

Soon enough, I come across a room ready nurse's office, and slid the door open. I am come face to face with the smell of plastic gloves and cleaning supplies. Then I see a woman in a lab coat, sitting at a dress and writing some document. "Miss. Can you help me? I found a girl in the hallway." I pronoun. When she looked up, she sighed. "How many times have I told her, to stay at home for the first week." The woman with pink hair grumbles and walks up to a bed. "Lay her down then!" She commands, and I do as told. "What's wrong with her?" I ask, after putting her down. "You must be new. This girl is Lucy Heartfilia. She suffered a head injury when she was younger. As a result of this, she get severe headaches and can sometimes faint." The woman said, making a piece of cloth, from the cupboard, wet. She then lays it on Lucy's head. "She'll be fine. You can return to class now." The woman sighs and goes back to her desk. "What's going to happen to her?" I ask. Why do I even care?! "She'll rest up until she's ready to go back to class, just as she always does. Now get back to class, I can't stand the sight of you." She grumbles the last part. I grumble some unpleasantries and go back to class.

When I get back to class, I tell Miss Strauss what happened. "Oh my! She fainted again." She panicked. "I'll be sure to call her mother as soon as possible, thank you Natsu." Miss Strauss runs out the room. "How did you know she fainted? Where you following her?" Levy stood up crossed her arms. "Of course not. I am just an innocent bystander in all of this." I put my hands up in defence. "Yeah. A perverted one." Juvia scoffs. "How is he a pervert?" Gajeel comes up behind me and slaps my back. "What kind of person would pick up a girl he just met? It's just creepy." Ersa states. "He was just trying to help. No need to get all moody about it." Jerral states blankly. After that, Ersa and him git into a full blown argument. "Look. All we're trying to say is. Stay away from Lucy." Levy and Juvia state coldly and walk out the room, probably to see Lucy. Ersa soon followed, after beating Jerral to a pulp.

Lucy's PoV

When I wake up, I see the rememberable ceiling of the nurse's office. "That's funny, I don't remember getting here?" I question my surroundings as I sit myself up, weakly. "Hello child. Did you have a nice summer?" The often voice of the nurse asked from her desk. "It was fine Miss Porliusica. How did I get here?" I ask worried. "A boy with pink hair carried you here. Seemed a bit strange, if I do say so myself. Here." She hands my another gauze. "Thanks." I mumble, knowing exactly who carried me here, and didn't like it one bit.

Suddenly, the doors slid open. "Lu! What are you okay? Did you bump your head?" Levy jumped on me and put her palms on every point of my face. "I'm fine Lev." I giggle at her overreaction. "Hey Lu. How's your head?" Ersa said much more calmly than Levy, sitting at the end of the bed and resting her hand on my foot, that was under the sheets. "It's better. Is it true?" I ask, half not wanting to know. "Sadly, yes Lu. But you can't hide from him forever." Juvia sighs and sits on the opposite side to Levy of me. "I know, but I'd like to hide as much as I can." I sigh, leaning my head on Levy's shoulder. "That's not possible when your the most popular girl in school Lu." Levy chuckled, petting my hair softly. "I know." I grumble and sit up properly again.

Then someone interrupts us. "If your okay to talk with your friends! You're okay to go back to class! Now get out." Miss Porliusica commands and we scurry out of there, not wanting to loose our lives.
