"Stephanie? I heard a loud crash and-" I heard Annie say. I turned around to see the doorway and found Annie and Liv standing there. "What happened?" Liv asked angrily. "Um..." I started. I looked at Katie. You can tell them she mouthed. I nodded. "I went after Katie but I tripped and fell on my, bruise, and it hurts so Katie helped me up and I said sorry to her." "Katie, helped you?" Annie asked, in an unbelievable tone. "Yes," I said looked down at my feet. "So is Katie now invited?" Liv asked, her voice soft. "Do you want to?" I turned back to Katie. "Sure."

When we got back inside, mom yelled, "Mango smoothies are done!" "Coming!" we all called back. We all laughed. "Katie! Hi. Glad I made extras," mom told her as she gave her a cup. "Thanks," Katie said.

After we got our smoothies, we sat down outside. I sat down but the bruise kept bothering me. "Ow," I mumbled under my breath as I rubbed it. "Steph? Are you ok?" Annie asked as she glared at Katie. "Yeah, I'm fine," I lied as I put on a fake smile. "These mango smoothies are awesome!" Liv exclaimed. "Yep, they are," I replied. "Is everything ok?" Liv asked me. "Yeah." "You don't look ok," Annie said to me. "Can you guys not worry about me? If I said I'm fine, then I'm fine!" I screamed out. With that, I ran inside the bathroom and just sat there and put a huge bandage on my brusie. Just then, a piece of paper flew in through the bottom crack of the door. Please come out. It's Katie. It read. I looked under the door to make sure it was her and I saw crutches. But it could be Annie or Liv just using them. So I looked higher. Short blondish-brown hair. It's Katie. I slowly opened the door. "What do you want Katie?" I asked inbetween sniffles. "Nothing. Just come out here." I nodded slowly and walked out. "Can I see how bad the bruise is?" Katie asked. "Um, why?" I asked, moving back towards the bathroom. "Just let me see it. I just wanna know how bad it is." I slowly lifted up my shirt and she gasped. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, Steph! I didn't know that it was this bad!" She pulled me into a tight hug. "It's ok- ow ow it hurts don't hug me so tight!" I managed to say. "Oh, sorry," she loosen her grip and finally let go. I rubbed my bruise. As much as it hurt, it wouldn't get it in the way of the sleepover.

Outside, Annie and Liv were doing front tucks and the camera was recording them. "Can I join?" I asked them. "Steph! Yes!" Liv and Annie said at the same time. We all laughed. We did all sorts of tricks that Katie named for us to do. Katie was recording us.

Dad came home at 8:30pm and told us dinner is ready. "Ok!" we all called back. Annie, Liv, and I jumped off the trampoline and Katie gave Annie the camera.

Annie: So you got some gymnastics in here, and now Katie is here for the sleepover also, and she's getting her stuff later. Anyways, dinner is ready and I'm hungry. How about you guys? *tilts camera so it can see everyone*
Liv, Steph, and Katie: Yessss!
Everyone: *laughs*
Annie: okay see you in a bit!

Dinner was Caesar salad and chicken tenders. "This is so good, Mrs. Summerlin!" Katie exclaimed when she took a bite of the chicken. "Yeah, it's so good, mommy!" Sammy piped up. Everyone laughed at her squeaky voice and ketchup mustache.

After dinner, I let Liv, Annie, and Katie choose a movie. "How about the "The Trumpet Terror?" Katie asked. "Nah. Do you have any gymnastics films?" Annie asked me. "Yeah! Here," I said as I grabbed five gymnastics movies. Gabby Douglas, McKenna Shoots for the Stars, A Gymnast's Life, Paige and Katie the Super Talented, and Irene the Gumball Gymnast. "Gumball Gymnast?" Liv asked scrunching up her nose. "Don't ask, it's my sister's," I told Liv. "I choose, Paige and Katie the Super Talented!" Katie said. "Did you pick that because there's a girl named Katie in that movie?" I asked, chuckling. "Uh... no. Maybe. Yes," Katie laughed. We all laughed. We all decided to watch Paige and Katie the Super Talented.

After the movie, it was 11:15pm. Everyone was yawning. We went down to the basement and found our blanklets and pillows. I had a great idea. "Forts!" I said aloud. All their faces lit up. "Yes!" They all replied. "I'll sleep with Liv. Sorry Steph," Annie said. "Oh, ok. Come on Katie, let's make the best fort ever! We can have a competition," I said. "Ok, let's do it," Katie replied. We grabbed two chairs, three blanklets, and four pillows. "This is great!" I said when we finished the fort. "Hey, we have an outlet! Let's see if they have one," Katie suggested. When we went inside, we found Annie and Liv sleeping on each other in the middle of building their fort. "Haha, they lost! Let's help them sleep though," I said and pushed Annie off of Liv. We came out and went to sleep inside our fort. "Good night, Katie," I said. I looked over at her and found her fast asleep.
