"Wake up!" I heard Hayley scream. I opened my eyes to see Annie jerk up and Amanda and Sydeny wake up as well. "You guys have gym today and you have about forty-five minutes! Get up!" Hayley yelled. We all scrambled out of our forts and went to a bathroom or a room. I put on a blue and yellow leotard and yellow Nike pros. I put my hair in a ponytail and ran downstairs (I was in the upstairs bathroom). I was the first one downstairs. Mrs. Katie made fruit salad for us and Mr. Billy was already at work. Mrs. Katie handed me a bowl and I got two big scoops of the fruit salad. I walked to the couch and Hayley was watching, Stuck in the Middle on Disney Channel. Soon, Amanda, Annie, and Sydeny came downstairs and sat next to me with their fruit salad. When we were all finished, Mrs. Katie drove us to gym with Hayley. Afterwards, she'll drop Hayley off at school.
At gym, we were like one minute late. So we joined the streching circle once we got there. Then we worked on Yurchenko Tuck and Yurchenko Pike. I landed most of them and noticed Annie struggling to do some. Then she landed one after her first eight vaults! When she came back to the end of the line (I was in front of her) I high-fived her. "Nice, Annie!" "Thanks," Annie replied.
After vault, we had a little snack break and then we went to beam. Coach Mary was using a bungee-cord thing that will help support us. We were doing double back layout stepouts. Annie and I both landed some! Then we worked on bars doing toe touches. (As shown in the video below)
After gym, I went back to Annie's house for a "second lunch". We went on the trampoline for a little bit with Hayley, and then we went to the mall without Hayley because we were going to pick out her birthday present! It's August 30th, and Hayley's birthday is September 2nd. H$ is turning eight!
We arrived at the mall and we did a little "Gymnastics in Public" video for acroanna and Stephthemonkey. We almost forgot about Hayley's present before Mrs. Katie said that her camera battery was low. Then we remembered why we were at the mall! Annie and I rushed over to Build-a-Bear Workshop. Annie picked out this purple, teal, pink, and blue tie-dye bear. While Annie was getting it stuffed, I found a perfect pink leotard and mini gym bag for it. I know, the leotard isn't coral... but that was the closest color there was.
"I did a custom message for Hayley's bear. I said it should be, "I Love Gymnastics". Do you like that?" Annie asked for my opinion. "That's sweet! I like it," I replied. Annie smiled. After Build-a-Bear, we went to Justice to pick out a few outfits for Hayley and maybe for us. We got Hayley:
