I woke up with Annie on top of me. "Really?" I muttered, pushing my way out under of Annie. MK was sleeping next to Annie. I looked at the time. 10:34. Wow we slept for a long time! We had gym at 1:30 today. I brushed my teeth and hair and changed into the clothes I packed. It was a white shirt that said, Gymnast, and jean shorts. When I came out, Annie had changed into a white gymnastics tee shirt and teal shorts.

"Morning," Annie grumbled. Not a morning person. "Morning. Where's MK?" I asked. "Downstairs," she replied, fixing her hair in the mirror. I nodded and walked downstairs and saw MK eating a bowl of fruit. "Hey Steph!" MK greeted. "Hey!" I said back, grabbing my bowl of fruit. --- Soon it was time for gym. Annie, Hayley, Sammy, and I all piled into the car. MK already went home.
We arrived at gym and we headed to our lockers. I opened mine when it slammed shut on my hand. "Ow!" I yelped, pulling it free. "What the heck Bridget I thought you and Steph were friends!" Annie yelled. I looked up at Bridget. "I turned on you. Sabatashing you is actually really fun! And also, Liv told me that you'll be sorry," Bridget laughed. "Steph are you okay? I saw everything," Katie came towards me and saw my hand. "Oh, ouch. Come, let's go tell Coach Mary," Katie told me. All the coral girls were crowded around Bridget yelling at her. Katie explained everything to Coach Mary and she gave me ice to put on my hand.
"Bridget Weston! Come here now!" Coach Mary yelled out. She came walking towards us, smiling like nothing happened. "Explain this," Coach Mary said, gesturing to my hand that was in a wrap. No, it was broken, it was just bruised. "It was an accident! I swear. I just slammed into her locker because Mia pushed me!" Bridget innocently said. "I don't believe it because I have cameras. Mia wasn't even near you, only Katie, Annie, and Steph were. You're no longer a coral girl," Coach Mary told her, firmly. "What?!" Bridget screeched. "You heard me. Hand me your coral girl leotard," Coach Mary told her. She pouted away and gave her the leo. "Now leave." Bridget took her stuff and stomped out of the gym. At least we got rid of her. --- "Are you okay to practice beam?" Coach Mary asked me. "Yeah," I replied, taking the ice bag off. We went to beam and everyone was really concerned about me. "Guys, I'm fine!" I kept telling them. I did my mount with was a presshandstand, and then I did a single back handspring, and then double back handspring with a little wobble. "Nice!" I heard Annie, Arden, Katie, and Mia say. I smiled and then I did my roundoff back tuck dismount and did two steps back. I went back in line and got a high five from Annie with my "good hand".
After beam, we went to get a snack for break. That's when I remembered- my birthday is in a week! "Hey, what you thinking about?" Annie asked, sitting next to me. "Birthday plans," I replied, smiling. "When's your birthday?" Annie asked. "October 5th," I replied. "Okay. It's Septmeber 29th now. So in a week?" "Yeah," I replied. I also remembered Caleb... the one year anniversary of his death. I shook the thought out of my head and decided it would be coral themed since this was my first birthday being a coral girl.
(A/N: sorry that this chapter is like 600 words only... usually they're like 800 or 900 words! Next chapter is about October 1st and Steph's birthday.)
