"Oh my gosh was it bad?" "Did Annie say you could?" "Oh my gosh... what a bad friend for putting it all over the news!" "Annie didn't deserve you to be at the restaurant." "Can we kick her out? She put Annie in pain."

"CAN YOU GUYS JUST SHUT UP!" I heard someone yell. My eyes were all watery that my vision was blurry. But I knew it was Annie. "I TOLD HER TO SEND IN THE VIDEO. SO STOP HATING," Annie yelled. Everyone was quiet. I think the birds stopped chirping outside.

But I got up. "It's okay. I'll leave," I said and gathered up all my things. Annie and Sydney tried stopping me but I didn't let them. I turned back. "It just wasn't my time," I told them and walked out.

I couldn't go home. My parents will ask questions and more questions about everything. So I went to a park to stay for the night. This park was different. This park was closest to 1st Class Gym, I can see it. In fact, I was right in front of it.

I went inside the gym by the secret key Annie showed us before. I laid my stuff on the floor and went to stretch. Before I knew it, I was crying a little. I wanted to forget everything, but the words kept coming back. Is it possible for the coral girls to hate me?

I went on floor and did some simple roundoff back handspring back handsprings. Nothing major, I didn't want to get hurt physically thinking about all this.

Finally, I was tired. I went on beam, bars, vault, and floor. I went against a wall, but I couldn't sleep. I just sat there and cried. Usually, gym is my happy place. I decide to just go on the trampoline since I couldn't sleep. Suddenly I heard a frantic scream. "Stephanie? Are you in here?" a boy asked. He sounded so familiar. It was Nick!

"N-n-Nick?" I asked him, in between cries. "Oh my gosh! Steph! What's wrong?" he asked, running over to me. "Wait... you're not hurt?" "Of course I am," he said, putting up his left arm. It was in a cast. "Oh wow. But how are you here?" "Hospital let me out early," he chuckled. "And also, Annie texted me that she no idea where you went. But I went to the gym to find you, and bam! You're here. But way are you crying?" he asked again. "The coral girls. They hate me for putting the fight up in public. I'm sorry," I said softly, putting my head in my hands. "Sorry for what? All the coral girls miss you," Nick told me. "They- they do?" I wiped off a tear. "Yep," he said, looking me ino the eyes. "You did the right thing. Teach Brennan a lesson. Did I do anything wrong?" Nick asked me. "No, you were perfect. Just treat Annie like she's your everything. Because I'm friends with her and she really likes you." He smiled. "Thanks Steph. For telling me that. Now you should go back to the sleepover. Right?" Nick suggested. "Nah, I'm not in a sleepover mood anymore. I'm just gonna go home," I told him. As I walked out with my stuff, it started to rain. "Oh come on!" I almost yelled. Just then, the rain stopped over me. I looked up and saw that Nick took off leather jacket and put it above both of us. I smiled and we walked to my house.
