Meet time!

"1st Class Gym!" the announcer announced. We waved as we came in and stood in one line next to... Liv's gym?!?! I think Annie heard my gasp because she looked at me weirdly. "Everything okay?" she asked me. "Yeah... just don't look that way," I said. Liv and Annie had another fight so Annie completely stopped talking to her. "Uh... okay?" Annie turned the other way.

We were first up on beam.

Pretend this is Annie

Pretend this is Bridget

Pretend this is Steph

Pretend this is Katie

"Glad you're doing better in gym, Steph," Annie said, giving me a little side hug. "Thanks, Annie," I said. "Steph!" I heard my name. By who? Liv of course. "Oh, hi Liv," I mumbled. "Great job, even though you got fifth all around while I got first! I'm so much better than you." "Wait what? Why are you acting so mean to me?" "Because I'm only friends with great gymnasts not loser gymnasts! I can't believe I was your friend!" Luv blurted out, her teammates laughing behind. "I-I-uh, um..." "What? A cat got your tongue? You shouldn't even be a gymnast you're so weak!" she said right in my face, her two teammates behind her pushing me to the ground. Where was Annie? Wasn't she just here? "Too scared? You seemed so scared on bars that's why you got like a seven!" Liv laughed. "I got a 8.6, thank you very much," I muttered. "Excuse me? No one talks to me that way!" Liv yelled. By now, almost all of the coral girls were surrounding me. "Liv! What are you doing?" Mia yelled at her. I saw Liv look up. Her and Mia were great friends, but Liv just smirked. "Oh, so I can't play around with one of your friends?" Liv asked them, innocently. "Liv, leave Steph alone!" TJ yelled. "Why?" Liv asked again and grabbed me up. She pinned me against the wall and I gulped. "If you mention anything about this is everyone, you'll be sorry," she said, holding up her fist. She let me go and I fell on the floor. "Goodbye, loser," she told me, and kicked me, hard. Everyone came rushing to me. "Steph are you okay?" Annie asked me. I shook my head and put it in between my knees. I just cried. Why was it always me? First Nick leaves me, Bridget hurts me, and now Liv? I'm done. So done.

I looked up with my tear stained face with everyone watching me. My vision was blurry because of tears. Before I could think I got up and started running. Where? Who knows. I ignored the frantic screams of my teammates, I ignored how much my knee hurt, and I ignored how much Liv hurt me.

I ran all the way to the Willow Creek. I climbed one big tree which was full of leaves. There was a book on one of the tree trunks. I slowly grabbed it and read the first page.

Nick Weston, and the Adventures Await.

I stopped. Nick had to be close. I looked around the top of the tree but no Nick. I heard screams from the coral girls, calling my name. I turned to page 2. It said how he met me, Annie, the fight with Brennan, how he found me at the gym, his closet house. I read everything.

Before I knew it, I was at the last written page.
I'll miss Steph. I'll miss Annie. I'll miss everyone I met in Maryland. This was my Maryland book so I hope you enjoyed. Whoever is reading, keep it. Remember that adventures await everyday. Goodbye Maryland. Goodbye fourth book. Hello, new fifth book. And I also want to say hi to Bridget. I saw you and I know you miss me. But I can't. I'm just invisible. So. See you around person reading this. -Nick Weston, the finished journey in Maryland.

I cried. This was beautiful. I'm going to keep this. He left is here so someone can read his adventures. Suddenly, I felt someone climbing the tree. No. I don't wanna be found. But I will anyways. I hid the book behind my back. "Steph! I found Steph!" Annie yelled. Everyone cheered. I grabbed the book and Annie handed me my bag. I stuck the book I quickly and climbed down. "Don't run away again, we were so worried. I get it... you're hurt. Well, so is everyone here. We were all great friends with Liv. Let's go home," Annie told me. I just nodded and walked back home.
---
"Oh, Steph! Where have you been?" Mom asked me, embracing me into a hug. "Were you crying?" "Um, no. I'm fine, mom. Can I shower?" I quickly covered. "Sure, go ahead." I raced upstairs and took out my pajamas and went into the shower. Why me why me why me? I kept asking myself. I showered and I got on my bed. I unsubscribed from Liv and unfollowed her on all my social media. I just laid there and looked at my coral ring. Just looking at it makes me cry. "Oh honey, why are you crying?" Mom asked me. I sat up and threw my coral ring across the room. "Liv and I had a fight and she said she wished she was never my friend! Just looking at this ring makes me sick," I said, eying the ring on the ground. I slammed a pillow on my face. Mom slowly removed it. "Want me to talk to her mom?" "No! Liv threatened me if I told anyone I'll be sorry," I softly said. "Oh, sweetie. She can't reach you here. Just let me." Mom gave me a hug. "I... I just don't want Liv to hurt me." "And she wont. It's okay, Stephanie." "Okay, thanks mom." "Your welcome. I'm going to head downstairs so go to bed. Goodnight!" Mom told me before closing the door. Then I fell asleep.

I can't believe you Liv. I just can't.
