CHAPTER 12
Hogwarts and Unhappy Endings
I opened my eyes, blinking. The sun peaked through the clouds as I sat up, stretching. The past two days had been filled with packing, studying, and goodbyes as September first drew nearer. Walking out of bed, I walked over to my closet, studying my options before throwing on jeans, a dark red t-shirt and converse before shaking my hair out of it's braid and brushing it, letting it fall to my waist. I was going to have to cut it soon, it was becoming bothersome.
"Well, don't you look nice?" Tonks asked from behind me, stepping out of bed. I grinned, twirling in front of the mirror.
"Well, it's the first day of school since I've been dead, thought I might at least try to look nice." I shrugged, and Tonks nodded approvingly.
"I'm gonna miss you so much." Tonks said, wrapping her arms around me. I nodded.
"You're the closest thing I have to sister, and now you plan to get up and leave me." Tonks pouted, and I raised an eyebrow.
"You'll still have Remus." I smirked as a blush crept along Tonks's cheeks. Tonks looked down at me.
"Says the girl who has a Slytherin boyfriend."
"Says to the girl who wants to snog the werewolf!" I cried, when a voice come from the doorway.
"Who wants to snog the werewolf?" Remus asked, raising an eyebrow and looking quite amused. I burst out laughing at Tonks's face, a mix of horror and embarrassment. I grinned, holding my ribs.
"Oh, that's too funny!" I laughed, and Remus rolled his eyes before turning down the hallway, when Tonks pounced on me.
"Hey!" I cried, while Tonks started tickling me relentlessly.
"You silly little girl! Some things should not be said!" Tonks laughed, until I pushed her off, that is.
Standing up, I shouted, "Bye Nymphadora!" Before zooming down the hallway, a pillow landing in the spot where my head had been a few seconds ago.
"Don't call me Nymphadora!" Tonks's voice rang through the house as I ran into the kitchen.
"Morning!" I called, sitting down next to Hermione. Hermione raised an eyebrow but said nothing, turning back to her book.
"Good morning, Lily! I hope you slept well, dear." Mrs. Weasley beamed, and I nodded happily, piling a heap of eggs on to my plate, when Tonks entered the room, her hair a deep shade of red. She glared at me while she made her coffee before sitting down on the seat next to Arthur.
"So, are you all packed?" Molly asked, and I nodded, scarfing the eggs down. Mrs. Weasley smiled.
"Very good, then! Abira's all fed and ready for the trip?"
I nodded again.
"Good, then you're ready to go. Where are the boys? HARRY! RONALD!" Mrs. Weasley called, walking up the stairs.
Caiden ran in a few seconds later, smiling.
"Morning Flower!" He said, and Tonks started laughing with Sirius as I turned to my brother.
"What did you just call me?"
"Flower! Uncle Sirius said that's your nickname!" He beamed, and my heart melted. He was just so cute! I sighed in defeat, glaring at a grinning Sirius.
"Did he?" I asked before standing up and walking out of the kitchen to make sure I had everything packed. Running up to my room, I flung my trunk open, sorting through my stuff. After packing and unpacking, I lugged my things downstairs like the others.
