Davids, the Maharlikans
(A poem I wrote to my beloved Philippines amid the territorial disputes happening on the West Phil. Sea)
He stood amidst the Goliath's fierce glare;
Unafraid of the strength that he possessed,
Fighting all blows of Dragonic conquest
Though less powerful, he faced the huge scare.
Never discouraged to resist and dare
To redeem what's his own- the sea on West
Maharlikans whose flag is on their chest
Echoed its voice - freedom is on the airrrr!!!
Fear ye not the Goliath who stands tall
For Davids shall rise with unity
When all our loyal hearts answer the call,
Glory is won, Ours is the victory!
The one who bullies will suffer its fall
And you'll be free again my dear country!
