Chapter Seven- Stick It To The Man

"Thank you so much for showing you guys" Rey hugged Poe and Finn when they sat down in the school's theatre. 

"Miss my nephew's first leading role ? Never" Poe said, Poe was a director, not to much work but he was pretty good. 

"Lucas found out..." She sighed.

"What ? What did he find out?" Finn asked

"He found out about Ben... it's a long story and I blame his science teacher for it." She looked at Finn, who was his science teacher. 

"Pardon?" he asked.

"He asked his blood type... Ben is AB , the guy I made up is O... I am A, there's no way that A and O could make AB... but AB and A can... so I'm expecting three plates of your fudge for a month" Rey shot Finn a look. 

"Well,.. at least he learned something... that's good... Does Ben know?" Poe asked.

"Of course he does... He was asked his blood type... -"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls... Ashwood Valley High proudly presents School of Rock... please refrain from any video recording or flash photograph... Please silence any phones and beepers"

Rey clapped loudly, very excited to see her son preform.. true he was only a freshman, but he was playing the leading  role of Dewey Finn. She clapped loudly when he son walked on stage. Her son was doing great, and the crowd loved him.

"Grab a hold of your axe and try to pluck out this riff." Lucas then moved his hands on his gutair.

"Let your shoulders relax, you don't wanna be so stiff.
Keep on going don't stop, take it over the top.
Make each note really pop, squeeze out every last drop.
Give it one final whop! and yes, you're in the band.
Turn a cello this way and it's practically like a bass." He sang to the other kids who were playing his students.

"Pop the strings when the play and watch how you shred my face.
Keep on rockin' each note, grab it right by the throat.
Keep the rhythm afloat, don't forget to emote.
And that's all that she wrote! Baby you're in the band.
If you play the piano, you can play the keys.
So just loosen it up and strut your expertise.
Take a look at this music and let your mind expand. You're in the band.
Sit your butt at the skins and try to whack out a beat.
Feel the groove in your pins, then slowly turn up the heat.
With a rat-a-tat-tat on the bass and hi-hat.
Make it juicy and fat, yes exactly like that! And now shut it down flat. You're in the band." Lucas was jumping around the stage , the crowd loved him.

"I need a couple of roadies, I need someone on tech.
Who wants to be security?
Well how about being manager? Is that something you could swing?
It means I'm putting you in charge of the whole damn thing! We've got our band." he threw rock horns.

"Now repeat after me, I pledge allegiance to the band!" 

"I pledge allegiance to the band!"

"And I promise to give Mr. Schneebly full command!" he sang

"I promise to give Mr. Schneebly full command!" the kids sang.

"And with me in control of the band as a whole, we will rock and we'll roll, with our heart and our soul. " he sang alone.

"If you're in raise your hand!" Lucas sang

"I'm in the band!"
"I'm in the band!"

Rey, Finn and Poe all clapped loudly, she was so proud of him. Lucas just had a major bomb blow up in his face, yet he was so good at hiding his emotions, he must get that from Ben.

The show went on and as soon as it ended they began their bows. Lucas ran onto the stage and took his bow. Rey, Finn and Poe all stood up and cheered for him.

They were waiting for him outside, so they could take him to go get some ice cream. Lucas walked out and Rey waved her hands but he walked to his left. "Where did  he go?" Poe asked. 

"Not sure... Let's go see... If it's Josh than maybe he -" Finn said. They all followed Finn to find Lucas. They saw Lucas talking to some men, about five of them. Poe looked at his sister.

"Lucas, honey ... who are theses- Ben" Rey spat when  she saw the tall dark haired man. "What are you doing here? You know what never mind.. Lucas come on, Uncle Poe and Finn are here and we need to go-"

"Finn and Poe?" Kylo asked.

"Yes... Lucas now" Rey sneered through her teeth.

"Rey? What's taking so long? Ben?" Poe said looking at the man. Growing up Poe and Ben were best friends, and Poe vowed to kill him if he ever hurt Rey. 

"Hey.. How you've been?" Kylo asked.

"Lucas, lets go now.." Poe said angrily. Poe very rarely yelled Lucas, but when he did it was scary. "Now" he said.

"No" Lucas shook his head. "You can't tell me what to do... You're not my dad.. He is " 

"Lucas Marcus Poe Kenobi how dare you speak to your uncle that way... Apologize now" Rey smacked his shoulder with her program.

"Why should I? He knew all along and he never told me... Some God father I have" Lucas rolled his eyes and walked off.

"Poe... calm down " Rey said realizing that his hands were clenched like a fist. "I'm gonna go get Lucas... I'll be right back" She said and ran off to get Lucas.

"Poe... how are you... you still with-" then Poe punched him in the face.

"That's for breaking my little sister's heart" Poe smirked "and this is for never coming back to her" and he punched him again. "and this is for writing a song called 'Can't Forget Her' when you did in fact forget her!" and he punched him in the stomach. "And this one is because I always keep my promises... the promise of killing you for hurting my sister-"

"Poe Dameron Storm Kenobi ! What the bloody hell are you doing you nitwhit !" Finn said as he came "That's not how you solve your problems... Wait... Ben?" Finn asked.

"Actually I go by Kylo now -" then Finn punched him too.
