Chapter Six- The Kid is Not My Son

"What kid ?!" Kylo asked him.

"That means you're my father ... It's the only logical explanation... You have AB , mom has A and I have AB .... So the man who j thought was my father isn't because he has O negative and you can't get AB from A and O ... It's impossible" Lucas said looking up at Kylo.

"This is crazy kid .... Do you do drugs I mean ... I understood if -"

Then there was a knock at the door . "Okay ... That's the mayor , here for some interview thing about us using the Groff Theatre " Kylo walked to the door and saw Rey.

"Rey -" he said .

"Let's just get this over with shall we - Lucas ? What are you doing here ?" Rey asked when she saw her son.

"Kylo is my father " he said .

"What ? Lucas you're crazy , come on now , Mr. Ren I'm sure we can discuss this later , Lucas let's go home-"

"Kylo is my father! It's science !" He shouted .

"Lucas you need to -"

"I'm AB ! you're A and he's AB ! The man who you told me was my father was O ! There's no way that A and O could make AB ! It's scientifically impossible! But A and AB can make AB! See he is my father!" Lucas shouted .

"Honey , I think that you're digging to much -"

"Hey let the kid speak" Kylo said .

"Excuse me I'm his mother and he's listening to me -"

"Well I might be his father and I wanna hear his speak" Kylo defended .

Rey rolled her eyes "mom ! You said you got pregnant with me in August , but according to Kylo he didn't leave until August 30th ... Meaning that you were already pregnant when you met dad ! Explain yourself" Lucas said.

"Don't talk to me that way, I am your mother !" Rey yelled at her son.

"You've lied to me my whole life! How do I even know that you're my mother?" Lucas growled at Rey.

"Hey kid, don't talk to her like that... Even if she lied to you" Kylo said.

"Mom... Just tell me the truth please!" Lucas said.

"Okay, I'm only going to tell you at home... I need time to drink... I mean think... I'll be home in a couple hours... I love you" She hugged him. Lucas nodded and then walked out.

Rey took a deep breath as she looked at the door. She knew one day this would all come crumbling around her. "Rey... Is he mine?" Kylo asked.

"Yes Ben" she sighed, she felt her heart heavy for lying to her son... but she was only trying to protect him.

"How come you never told me?" He asked "You kept my son from me for fifteen years -"

"You left me" she said trying to break him.

"Rey I was going to college-"

"Yeah, how was medical school ?" She asked sacrastically.

"Rey, I sat next to a music producer on the plane.. He saw something in me so I got a deal the second we landed in Los Angles.. Rey -"

"And by the way I did tell you... I called you everyday for nine months... I text you , I emailed you.. I called the guy that was supposed to be your roommate... I was waiting for you ... I tried to call your mom and dad and they said they haven't seen or heard from you... The next time I saw you was the day I gave birth... I saw you on the fricken T.V. in my hospital room... "

"When I got to L.A. they gave me a new phone... I never put your number back in my phone... I'm so sorry Rey..."

"Sorry isn't gonna cut it... You left me here is Ashwood ... all alone, saying you'd be back but you weren't... The only people who know that you're his father is Poe, Finn and me... Not even my own father knows the truth behind his grandson's DNA... " she yelled at him.

"Rey I wanna be there for him-"

"You should have started 15 years ago when you're seventeen year old girlfriend was calling you and texting you.. Who called your mother and father everyday... Don't you understand that saying you wanna be there for him means that you're actually gonna be there... You're a rock star... You have been married three times... You go on tour every couple months.. You have like 12 homes, you date supermodels... You're music is banned in church... There is no way that you can be there for him.. I need to go.. he has a show tonight... Ben we can talk about this another time.. You have a concert, here's my office number.. call only that... My assiant Trisha will take any notes. I have to go Ben-"

"I'm sorry Rey..." Kylo said. She shook her head and walked out.
