Chapter Eight- Say What You Mean

Lucas woke up that next morning and yawned . He could hear voices down stairs .

He walked into the kitchen and saw his mother with his uncles . "And he had the audacity to come to my son's school musical !" She yelled as she mixed the milk into her coffee .

"We were all pissed last night ... Good thing he didn't press chargers" Finn said .

"Legal Code , if he pressed chargers against us we could say that he left Lucas in reckless abandonment ... He would go to jail we would be fined " Poe said .

"And that's why dad said you should have gone to law school ... Like me and him !" Rey said .

Lucas was in Ms. Solo's shop , helping her with the boxes. "I met my dad" he said.

"But I thought he was dead -"

"No ... He and mom dated , he left and never got in touch with mom again ... Adam , the guy mom told me was my dad was made up" Lucas sighed and opened a box full of straws .

"Oh ... What's your dad's name then?" Leia asked as she put the fresh clean mugs on the stands .

"Well ... He goes by Kylo Ren but mom and uncle Finn and Uncle Poe called him Ben so I'm assuming Ben"

"Wait ... Ben ? Tall , black hair , pale... Looks like he would play the villain in a space movie ?" Leia's eyes were now wide open.

"Yeah ... That Ben" Lucas told her and went back to the box of straws.

"Oh my god " Leia said happily.

"You knew him ?" Lucas asked.

"Knew him ? I raised him !" Leia said her tears on the brim of her eyes.

"You raised him ? You and Mr. Solo ?" Lucas asked .

"Yes ! Ben Solo ... He was our only child ... Besides our dog ... Oh dear !" She than ran out the door to Han's hardware shop.

"Han ! Lucas is our grandson !!! Ben and Rey slept together before he left !!! Lucas is our grandson !" She pulled Lucas in a hug.

"Well if he's anything like Ben he will need a haircut soon" Han said and hugged him .

"You guys are crushing me" Lucas squeaked out breathlessly .

"Wait ! Ben's in town ! Do you have his number ? I need to see my son and beat the living shit out of him for never calling us !" Leia said .

Kylo had came over to Leia's shop . "Hey -" then Leia hugged him tightly .

"I missed you , you big dumb idiot !" She hugged him tighter.

"Hi mom" he managed to breath out.

Han came over as hugged him too "hey kid.... I didn't appreciate you having that song called blade through my heart and you killing a man who looked a lot like me.... But it's nice to see you're home "

"I'll only be in town for three weeks" Kylo said. "Then we have to leave for Los Angles.. We have a concert at the Staples Center and then the Grammy's... and we're nominated for some" 

"But... This time you leave you'll stay in touch ... Right?"Leia asked.

"I will mom... never again... Actually, would you guys like to move with me there? Your getting close to retirement and I want my family with me" Kylo told Leia and Han.

The door opened and in came Grandpa Ben Kenobi. "Lucas, your mom said you would probably be here... We need to go... Ben" Grandpa Ben said looking at the 33 year old man. "Now Lucas" 

"Grandpa please... I wanna stay with them-"

"Come now... go wait in the car, Uncle Poe and Uncle Finn are there with your mother... I believe Mr. Solo and I have some words" Lucas sighed and walked out to the car in the front.

"Han, Leia if you could excuse us I believe I need to speak to Ben" Grandpa Ben said. 

"Of course" Leia pullled Han to the back.

"Sir-"

"I don't care what your reasoning is behind never getting back to Rey... Stay away from Lucas... You're bad news for him... You've been married three times to supermodels, you've had sex with only three years older than Lucas... You've made songs about sex and guns and drugs... You got to live your dreams while Rey was here... Stuck in this town, alone with a baby to raise...She had dreams you know.. She wanted to be a photographer, but there's no way to do that with a child to raise on her own... You've hurt my daughter everyday for over fifteen years, the least you could do is stay away from Lucas" Ben Kenobi said and walked out.

Kylo sighed and ran his hand over his face, he was in some deep shit and only two people knew how to get him out.
