***Also I'm sure any Hamilton fans out there are a fan of the title haha!***

Finally it was the day. The long awaited wedding. It seemed that everyone was waiting around for the event and then suddenly it was happening without warning. There had been a few bumps in the road getting here but it was finally happening. Lexie looked herself over in the mirror. Her long brown hair was tied up into a bun with a few small pieces softly framing her face. Her white dress hugged her curves perfectly. Her makeup was simple and elegant. She really made a beautiful bride.

Brooklyn knocked gently on the door. "It's me." She called.

"Come in." Lexie replied to her.

Brooklyn gently opened the door. She'd been down getting ready herself so she hadn't seen her mother in her dress yet. "Wow. You look... wow." She smiled looking at her mother.

Lexie smiled at her daughter. "You're looking pretty wow yourself."

"Thank you." She smiled. Brooklyn's hair was lightly curled as it hung down her back. She wore her navy blue bridesmaid dress. Brooklyn stood next to her mother and took a glance at herself in the mirror. Brooklyn rubbed up and down her arm. Her skin was rough from the scarring. "We've been through a lot."

Lexie nodded. "We have. But we did it."

"We did." Brooklyn smiled softly. Just then, they heard the music begin to play, their cue to get ready.

Lexie stood at the door and watched as it opened before her. Flowers and decorations surrounded her friends and family sitting in the pews but there was really only one person she was truly focused on: Mark. The man she loved. She was glad to be surrounded people she loved but she only needed one person today and that person was Mark. The man she fell in love with over and over again. The man that she tried so desperately to avoid for so long. Every time something went wrong and they broke up, they always found their way back to one another. Even if it took 15 years. Lexie smiled as he took her hand and led her up the small set of stairs before smiling as they looked into each other's eyes.

"Ladies and gentlemen," The priest started. "We are gathered here today to witness this man and woman join together in holy matrimony. If anyone has any objection to this please speak now or forever hold your peace." The crowd remained silent. "I understand that the two of you have prepared your vows." The two nodded.

"Lexie, I love you." Mark began. "No matter how many times I tried to deny it, I always knew. I have always known that I love you. Always have. Always will. I was told to stay away from you-so many times-but I am so glad that I didn't listen. I thought I lost you all those years ago. But something brought you back to me. Sure, the past year has been a whirlwind but I'm so glad I got to spend it with you and our daughter. I always imagined myself with you. We're going to have the best life, you, me, and Brooklyn. We're going to be so happy. I can promise you that. I love you, Lexie Grey. We're meant to be." Mark smiled and slid the ring on her finger before she began to talk.
