PLEASE. THAT'S THE last Jade heard Sam say before he was gagged. She used her arm again to wipe tears as she watched David put the gag around Sam's mouth so he wouldn't interrupt the session.
Jade vowed to herself that she would tell the truth. As much as Sam pleaded, she just couldn't see Sam die. She couldn't. That's what Sam said about her.
David pulled out a seat and sat across from her. He smiled evilly at her, to which Jade glared back. She really hated David.
"Okay, Miss Thirlwall," David said, "Let's start with the interrogation, shall we?"
Jade just kept on glaring at David, which he didn't seem to notice. She snuck a quick glance at Sam, who was giving her pleading eyes. She shook her head at him.
Sam sighed through his gag. Why couldn't she just listen? Sam shook his head. He had no idea why. Because she loves you, idiot, a small voice said.
Sam thought he was going crazy, but shook it off. He looked at Jade one last time, but she was too busy with David who was starting to ask questions.
"What does Sam do for a living or career?" David asked.
"He's in an all boys dance group called Diversity," she answered.
"Are you sure?" David asked, raising an eyebrow.
Jade rolled her eyes, "Course I'm sure!"
David nodded and scribbled something down into his notepad.
"When is his next break?" David asked.
"I wouldn't know," Jade replied, "I don't know his schedule."
"Really?" he said.
"Yes, really," Jade said, growing agitated.
"Do you know of his work as an undercover agent?" David asked, looking amused and raising his eyebrow.
Jade looked at him like he was going mad. He then looked to Sam who had a surprised look on his face.
"Um, David?" Jade questioned, "Are you feeling okay?"
"Quite fine," David answered truthfully.
Was this guy serious? A secret agent? He had to be joking. Right?
Zayn closed the door behind Perrie and ran quickly - or sprinted - towards the closest door he could find. He thrust it open to see Leigh-Anne scrubbing a window. He looked around to see a man with short brown hair and stubble sleeping on a chair. Probably meant to be watching over Leigh, Zayn thought snickering to himself.
"Leigh!" Zayn whisper-shouted.
Leigh-Anne heard her name being called but she ignored it. She was not in the mood for Ethan. She kept on scrubbing until it got louder.
"What?" Leigh-Anne spun around.
She gasped when she saw Ethan asleep. She backed away until she hit into the window, letting out a little squeal. Was it a ghost?
"Leigh, over here," Zayn said, growing frustrated.
Leigh-Anne turned around and saw Zayn. She sighed a breath of relief. Thank the heavens! But, her eyes widened considerably when she looked behind the dark-haired boy.
"Zayn!" she shrieked.
Zayn whizzed around to see a man with a gun.
"Leigh, duck!" Zayn shouted, just as the bullet was shot.
Zayn ducked down, just missing the bullet and Leigh-Anne copied his actions. The bullet flew into the wall behind Leigh-Anne and the wall tumbled down, revealing a very shaken up looking Jade, staring wide eyed at the room next door.
