The Old Friends

Melanie's P.O.V

"Welcome back to The Scavengers, Katie" the brown haired boy said. "Thanks Armen. Hey Grayson" So blond hair is Grayson and brown hair is Armen. "Who are the people you brought with you?" Grayson asks Katie. "They are the new eight" Katie said casually. "The new Eight!" Armen yelled. Shelby nodded her head. "I'm Shelby! This is Sky, Ross, Max, Joel, Aphmau, Lizzy, and Blue. Blue doesn't talk to new people." She explained. Thank the lord she explained that I don't talk. "So what elements are you guys?" Grayson asks. "I'm plants, Lizzy is spells, Aphmau is ice, Joel is shadows, Max is fire, Ross is earth, Sky is air, and Blue is water." Shelby continued to explain. "Katie have you seem any signs of him?" Armen asks his face full of hope. "Yes. We saw him working with Tiffany. I still feel terrible about that since he was like a brother to you guys." Katie told them. Armen's face fell and Grayson looked down. Who is he, Drake maybe? "Who is this person your talking about?" Sky asks. "His name is Drake and he is half endermen half of whatever Armen is." Katie explained. "I told you what I am! Half human half Herobrine!" Armen told her. "Herobrine is a mythical person, we don't know if he actually exists yet." Katie says. "More important manners, how did you see Drake?" Grayson asks. "Blue show everyone!" Katie says excitedly. I got some water out of a bottle I was carrying and threw it up into the air. I compressed it into a ball and thought about Drake. "Wish!" I heard Joel say amazed. I opened my eyes and there he was in the water. He was moving around and occasionally looking at a photo. "Can you get a better look at the photo?" Armen asks. My little speck of water moved around and you could see the picture more clearly. I heard Grayson gasp and look down. It was a picture of the three friends. They looked really happy. The picture faltered and I felt a huge pain in my mind. I moved around a bit more until the pain grew to great and I put the water back in the bottle. "Why did you stop?" Grayson asks me. I point to my head and he understood. The others were confused. "You get a headache of you use to much magic." He explains. "Who created the Scavengers?" Ross asks. "You are looking at three of the people who did." Katie said. "The part of the last eight that is still good created The Scavengers" she explained. "So they are Eights?" Lizzy asks. "Yes. I am the eight of electricity, and Armen is the eight of light." Grayson explains. "So what can your powers do?" Aphmau asks. "I can manipulate light around us and make you see things that arent there." Armen explained. He waved his hand around and I suddenly saw him surrounding us. There were around 20 of them in a circle. They waved there hand and all were gone but one. He waves his hand one more time and he is all the way across the room. "You can teleport!" Max said loudly. "I can make it look like I teleported by using the light." He explained. Grayson waved his hand and lightning struck him. I heard Sky scream like a girl. When the lightning went away he was gone. I heard lightning behind us and there he was. "All of you can teleport. You just have to find out how." He explained. Lightning was right behind us again and I thought I saw an outline of Tiffany in the lightning. "Is anyone here afraid of lightning?" Grayson asks. Sky raised his hand. "I am" "I won't strike you don't worry. Anyways you are the wind element correct?" He asks. "Ya" Sky responds. "You and Blue can create storms like tornados and just normal rainstorms if you want." "Really! Cool!" Sky squeals. "Does anyone else want to learn how to teleport?" Max says. Everyone raises their hand but Grayson, Armen, and Katie. "Do any of you already know how? Do any of you want to try?" Everyone shakes there head at the first question and I am the only one that raises a hand on the second one. "OK good. You are blue right?" I nod. I get the water bottle out of my pocket and pour some on the ground. I pour some around three feet away. I imagine myself jumping in the water and jumping out through the otherside. I jump in the water and I hear Shelby gasp. I had just gone through solid floor. I jump out on the other side. I saw Sky looking like a kid on Christmas. "My turn!" Sky yelled. As soon as he said that he was across the room. "Why do you get to teleport so fast!" Aphmau exclaimed. "I am the air element and air is all around us" Sky explained. "OK well anyways its my turn" Aphmau said full of sass. I saw ice appear beneath her feet and she fell through. Almost instantly she appeared across the room coming out of the floor. "Its my turn!" Shelby said excitedly. She concentrated and a rose grew around her. It was really pretty. It was a silver rose and when you moved around or looked at closely it looked rainbow. It started shrinking and shrinking very quickly and I started to get a bit scared. Another rose appeared across the room and Shelby stepped out. "Pretty rose but it can still die to fire." Max said. Flames engulfed him and he appeared across the room next still engulfed in flames. "I will go" Joel said. He doesn't talk much but he talks more then me. I saw him walk into the wall where a shadow was and appear through a shadow on the floor. "My turn" Ross said. I see a rock shoot up from the ground and I looked over by Shelby and she looked horrified. I saw the rock appear silently behind her and Ross tapped her shoulder. She screamed, turned around, and slapped Ross. "Ow! What was that for!" Ross asks. "Scaring me you idiot!" Shelby replied. "I still don't get how I'm cousins with you" she said. "Guys, guys. Stop fighting. Let the master show you how to teleport." Lizzy said. She waved the wand she got from the book around and she teleported around the room. She ended up behind Joel and when she was about to teleport again Joel caught her hand to make her stop. "OMG! I need to come up with a ship name! And fast! We need the Fanfictions people hurry up!" You could here Aphmau barking orders. Joel let go and blushed and so did Lizzy. You could hear Aphmau squealing over in the corner with Sky. "Ok now that all of is know how to teleport we will go into the actual base of the Scavengers" Armen said. Grayson walked to two huge doors that blended into the walls. "Elements" he said. The huge doors opened and I saw a huge room full of people walking around. I saw a certain person who I have always hated. She looked at me and her eyes teared up. I saw sadness and regret fill her eyes. She has always hated me and now she is sorry for me. That's weird. The only thing Jessica was ever sad about was when one of her friends left. This was not the Jessica I knew.
