Ice Cream is Best Served Cold

Aphmau's P.O.V

I had just gotten done making vanilla ice cream in the freezer when my parents walked in. "Honey we will be at the bakery talking to Shelby's Parents. Do you want to come?" They asked me. Shelby and Lizzy are my best friends. There aren't many other girls our age, and the ones that are are mean. I accepted their offer and we started on the walk to Shelby's house. When we got there Lizzy had just walked in as well. We went to Shelby's room and started talking. Shelby told us about an awesome flower she found in her garden. She is obsessed with plants. Lizzy started to tell us about an amazing book she read when I saw something out of Shelby's window. "Lizzy shush" I quietly said. "Does anyone else see that?" I ask Shelby and Lizzy while pointing out of the window. There was a person outside on one of the neighbors roofs. The person just sat there when it turned to look at us. It saw us staring and started to run away. We ran downstairs and told our moms that we were going to the park. It felt bad too lie too them but curiosity got to the best of us. We started to chase after it and saw it run near Ross's farm. We saw it stop and look to see if we were following it. Ross came out of his chicken farm with Thunder muffin behind him. He looked at us and we pointed too the stranger in the hoodie. He looked at her and she started running again. We chased after it again and saw Ross still staring after it. We all snuck up too it and when we got a closer look we saw it was a girl. She turned around and saw us. She ran off and ducked into an alley next too the ice cream parlor my parents own. "Guys I'm not sure about this" Lizzy said. "Its next to the ice cream parlor I trust it." I said. We went into the alley and saw nothing. "She must have gone into the freezer" I said while trying to open the door to the freezer. "Its not working" I said. I told the girls to follow me and we went around to the front of the parlor. I got the key under the flower pot and went inside. Lizzy went to check upstairs, Shelby checked in the lobby and I checked in the freezer for her. When I went into the freezer I forgot that It was locked from the outside and closed the door as soon as I checked around and saw she wasn't in here I tried to open the door. I couldn't so I thought that it was just slightly stuck. I tried again and I still couldn't open the door. "I'm going to die in here" I said quietly. I checked my phone and saw that I had no service. This is just like those cliché TV shows when someone gets locked in a freezer and gets saved right? I will get saved, I think. I looked around everywhere and saw nothing. The cold never bothered me much but I was starting to get cold. I started banging on the door yelling "Get me out of here!" I slid down the door and sat there crying. I was going to die. I looked around again to try to see if I could use anything to get out. I saw the door that leads into the alley and I tried it. It was jammed. Someone jammed the lock. I looked up and saw an airvent that was to high for me to reach. Why do I have to be so short.I looked around for something to stand on and I see a little circular box. "That wasn't there before" I say quietly. I open the box to see I small ring in the shape of a snowflake. I also see a note.

Dear Aphmau
I see you are in a bit of a predicament, this might help you. You have been chosen to be the eight of ice. I hope you accept this offer. Come to the hut in the northern woods to meet the other eights. Who knows some of your friends might be in there as well.

I put down the note and I look at the ring I got. The gem in the middle is a light blue topaz that is in the shape of a snowflake. It looked beautiful and I have never really expirenced adventure before. I put on the ring and an ice cube formed around me but strangely enough it wasn't cold. I sound like Elsa from Frozen, my favorite movie. When the ice cube went away somehow I wasn't cold. It was actually warm. I guess I can't feel cold anymore. Shelby then burst into the room yelling "Aphmau! Are you OK!" "I'm just fine" I replied warmly. "Thank you for saving me Shelby" "Hmm oh no problem anything for a friend. Anyway how are you not cold, its freezing in here?" She asked me. Oh no what could I say. "Well I have worked in here for my whole life, I guess you could say the cold never bothered me anyways."

Shelby Lizzy and I all had a sleepover at Shelby's house. It was 5:00 and we started talking. Lizzy asked the question I dreaded to talk about. "Are both of you sevens as well? I see you both have a new ring." "I am" said Shelby. "I am as well" I said. "Awesome then let's head out to the hut in the woods." Lizzy and I packed all of our stuff into the string bag we both brought and started off.Shelby's mom was in her room so it was easy to sneak off. When we got in the woods Shelby led the way. She led us right to the hut and when we entered it we saw the girl in the light green hoodie and a boy with brown hair looking at the books. "Let's go take a seat" Shelby said happily.

My all time best with word count is now 1030. The Elsa puns. I am Sans. I mean I am lazy and I love puns. But I'm not chubby in any way or form, except after I eat a big meal. Anyway thank you for reading the chapter and remember, Cookies for everyone. Elsa cookies for everyone.
