Why do I make so many chapters at 2 a.m!

Max's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and looked at the clock, 8:00. I slept in! I jump out of bed and get dressed in my normal clothes and hurry down stairs. Breakfast is already cooked so I eat two pancakes and run to my job. I am the apprentice of a blacksmith. I see a note on the door.

Dear Max
I have gone out to get grocery's. I left an unfinished project on the anvil you can finish. It is to smelt and shape One Hundred Iron Ingots.

I go into the smelting room and and saw a chest. I open the chest and see the one hundred of iron. I put it in the furnace and wait. I decide to go out and roam around the village. I pass by Ross's Chicken Farm and see Does staring at something. I look at where Ross is staring and see a person wearing a green hoodie. I also see Ross's Cousin Shelby. I see her with two other girls I don't know. I see the person in green run away and the girls chase after her. I see Ross staring off into space. I go up in front of him and wave my hand in front of his face. "Huh... What?" He questioned. He looked over to me and smiled. "Dude did you see that?" He asked me. "Yeah" I reply. I see someone walk up to us. Its Tim. We used to be friends and then I yelled at him once. He now hates me. "Hey Max. Are you a glad Max right now or sad Max? Maybe a Mad Max even?" "Tim you know how much I hate those nicknames." "I know that's why I say them" I'm starting to get mad. Don't let him have the joy of seeing you mad."Ross I'm going to head back to the blacksmith to finish my project." "OK bye dude" Ross waves goodbye to me. "Oh so now your a scared Max?" Don't turn around. Don't give him the joy. I continue walking and after a few minutes I get back to the smith. The iron is almost done smelting so I grab some of it and head over to the anvil. I grab the hammer and pound the iron into the shape of an iron ingot. I think back to when Tim and I used to be friends.

Flashback

"Hey Max" I hear my best way friend Tim yell. "Over here!" I yell back. I'm looking over at the blacksmith. I have always wanted to be a worker there. "Hey Max!" I here Ross yell. I see them both starting to head towards me and run into each other. Both fall down and I go to help Ross first since he's closer. "Why didn't you help me first?" Tim asked confused. "Ross was closer" I say. But I'm your best friend." He asks starting to get a bit angry. "So is Ross" I said. I was starting to get frustrated as well. One of the other kids came up to me and started to call me Mad Max. "My name is Max." I told the kid. "You act like a Mad Max." The kid told me. "Hey leave him alone!" Ross said. The teacher just now noticed us and came over to us. "Ok ok break it up. I don't want preschoolers to fight" "Ok ma'am" I said politely. The other kid walks away angrily. "Tim why didn't you back me up!" "You are really just a Mad Max arent you" he said. He had this mean face on and walked over to the other kid. I could just hear there conversation. "I don't want to be friends with those meanies anymore so can I join you?" "Yeah sure" That traitor! "We dont need him" I declared. "He was mean to me anyways" Ross said. He called me a meanie. He's the mean one!

Flashback~end

I looked down and saw a pile of about 80 or so iron ingots. I took all of my anger out in working. I love being a blacksmith because it means that I can blow off some steam by pounding materials. The coal in the furnace was burning low so I decided to go and get more coal. I opened the chest and got some more coal out. I smelled smoke so I turn around and there was some fire. I looked back at the chest and Instead I saw a circular box. I opened the box and got saw a note and a ring.

Dear Max
The fire is burning to close for my liking so before you get hit put on the ring. It will save you. As soon as you put on the ring you will become the eight of fire. Meet the others in a hut in the northern woods.

I put the box down and it bursted in flames. I still had the ring in hand and I inspected it. The gem in the middle was an ombre Almandine in the center that was the colors of fire. I took to long and I felt the flames touch my left arm. I screamed out in pain and put the ring on. I was engulfed by flames but it did not hurt. When the flames disappeared I went into the room with the iron and saw the lava bubbling dangerously close to the wood so I got a piece of stone and placed it to make sure no fire started. I looked at my left arm and saw that the burn was gone. It was around 8:30 when I got my work done and left. I saw Ross leave his home and followed him. "Hey Ross!" He jumped. I walked up to him and asked the question. "Are you an eight to?" "Ye" "Awesome let's go!" We started off to the hut and we got lost five minutes in. We stopped and argued for around five minutes. "Ross I don't think this is the way" I said "I'm positive this is the way!" "Hello!" We heard a voice call out. "Over here!" Ross called. The boy came up to us and I saw that he was wearing a purple amulet with sunglasses. Ross introduces us and he said his name was Sky. He asked Ross if he is looking for a hut in the woods as well and when he started speaking I saw the hut. "Guys" I say but they don't notice me. "Guys" I say a bit louder. "Guys!" "What?" I point to the hut, "Look over there!" I practically yell. "Ohhhhh" they both say at the same time. We ran up to the hut and burst through the doors. I see the person with the green hoodie staring at an empty glass, a girl with dark hair talking to a girl with red who is also talking to a girl with pink hair. I see a boy reading a book with brown hair who had a burn on his arm. "I guess were last" I hear Sky say. I guess we are.
