The Group of Scavengers

Melanie's P.O.V

I just woke up and looked around. Where was I? I was looking around and saw my friends all around me sleeping. I'm at the Scavengers headquarters. I get out of bed and walk out of the room. I see some girls who I saw yesterday. I see the one with the pink boy and the scientist. I also see the two gaurds talking. They see me in my hoodie and they start to walk over to me. "Hi, I'm Emma. I overheard Mousie talking to Jen that the new eights showed up yesterday. Are you one of them?" I nodded. I saw that the one with the pink bow was wearing a hood like me. "The one with the pink bow is Rose, and the other gaurd is Elise" Emma explains. "I know you know Yurie and Emra. The male doctor is Alex. I'm guessing you also know Sammy and Jena?" I nod. "OK nice meeting you" She walks off with Rose and Elise and I continue down the passage. I see Mousie up ahead. I go and stand next to her. "Hey. I didn't know you got up early!" Mousie said. I just nodded "What are you doing up so early?" I quietly question. I see her look over at me with my peripheral vision. "I never know when Tiffany will attack and when she does I need to be ready. I want the least amount of casualties as possible." She said very seriously. "I feel like I can get to serious sometimes. Anyways look at this." She said. She wiped her hand across the wall like she was wiping a window and I could suddenly see through the earth. "One way glass. Something our scientist made that only people on this side can reveal." She said. She wiped her hand across the window the other way and it disappeared. She looked like she was about to cry. I tried to comfort her. "Let me show you why I'm crying." she said simply. She lifted her hands in the air and then surrounded us. I saw a scene around me. It was her and a little boy. He looked like an older version of the boy in the orphanage. "Sissy! Cmon!" The boy said pulling a younger version of Mousie. The teen Mousie looked irritated. "Peter! I can go in my own time." She was holding onto a necklace in her hand. When she finally let go of it, it was a necklace in the shape of a music note. Her charm, the charm that gives her powers. I saw Tiffany in the shadows. I felt my shoulders stiffen up. Mousie didn't see her and Tiffany had an evil glare in her eyes. Tiffany sent a wave of what looked like poison at the little boy. The little boy was trapped in an invisable box of poison. Tiffany walked out of the shadows and cackled. "Mousie, your little brothers greatest fear is dying in a box of poison? Well look what he is doing now!" She said cackling. She ran into the shadows and disappeared. Mousie ran to her younger brother and cryed. She was trying to get him out but he was stuck. The sound flashback wavered and then after the boy fell to the ground it stopped completely. "That is why I want the old Tiffany back. If you knew her before she was a beautiful funny girl but now she is mean and evil. She killed my brother and she is going after the every single eight necklace. She is also trying to get the owner of every necklace to her side. Since another person can not wear the wrong necklace" Mousie explains. I see the girl in the pink dress walk up. Her name is Jen. "Hey Jen!" Mousie says back to her normal cheerful self. "Hey Mousie! What's up!" Jen said. "Nothing" Mousis says. "The scientist say they want to experiment with sound today so can you go over and help them?" Jen asks. Jen looks over at me and gasps. "You must be Blue! I have heard a bit about you while the scientist were talking to me!" She says. I nod. She walks off with Mousie and I now see Katie walking around. "Hey Blue!" Katie says. I see Shelby walking up behind Katie. "Hi Katie" Shelby says. Katie jumps up and I catch her in a bubble. "Let me down from here!" Katie says. Shelby is on the ground laughing. "Ok is you say so" I say. I drop her and she lands on her back. Shelby and I laugh and then we go over to her and help her up. She laughs and accepts our help. We all start to walk down the hall and run into the boys. I see one of the male guards named Pat walking with them. Aphmau walks out of the room with Lizzy and they meet up with us. I see Jessica. She starts to walk over to us. I just continue to walk forwards. "Hey!" She calls out to me. I form a picture of water in front of Shelby, Lizzy, and Aphmau of the younger Jessica bullying everyone. The gasped, looked at her, and narrowed there eyes. "Look I'm sorry but it had to be done" I nodded as if to accept her apology but I won't open up to her just now. She smiled and walked off. I smelled bacon down the hall and I could tell everyone else smelled it too. We all briskly walked towards the room and saw a huge cafateria in it. I saw Mousie and Jen sitting at a table and they waved Katie, Lizzy, Aphmau, Shelby, and I over there. Grayson and Armen waved the boys over. The tables were separated into the jobs and genders. We went over to Mousie and Jen after getting food. I see a boy walk over to Sky who has black hair that is covering his right eyes, a purple jacket, and a gray shirt. I see Sky stand up and hug the person and maybe even crying. Was he an old friend of Sky's?

Sky's P.O.V (Two P.O.Vs! How fancy!)

I had gotten a load of bacon and some pancakes and sat down next to Grayson. I was thinking about someone who I thought I saw earlier today. I remember a person with black hair. He always had it over his eye and always had a purple jacket on. I thought I saw him earlier today but I couldn't have. I saw him die with my own eyes. I was looking around trying to see if I could see him again. I saw someone walking up behind me. I turned around and saw the person himself. I got up and hugged him. I started to tear up and cry. "Jin. How did you survive?" I ask him. "I thought I was a goner. I then saw a bright white light and Armen was right there with Grayson and another person who I believe was named Drake. They killed all of the zombies and they helped me here to get healed." I looked over at Grayson and Armen. They looked surprised and happy for us. "Never do that to me again Jin" I said. We hugged again and I invited him to sit next to me. I saw him wearing a necklace that was in the shape of a sword. "What magic do you have?" I ask. I have the ability to summon any sword and to know what move the attacker will do next. It is almost like looking into the future. I can also do any melee move and I am pretty good with a bow." Jin explained. "Cool!" I said. We finished breakfast and every eight went into a huge room.

I did two P.O.Vs this chapter! I think I now have sixteen with powers. Today I had a friend who reads my book ask me why I'm not doing the Wattys and it is because I really don't feel like I'm good enough to win and I don't want to put my hopes up just to get them crushed so I won't be joining the Wattys.
