Dance Moms - Maddie's Struggle

Abuse and Lose.

Chloe's POV:

"Goodnight girls, have a nice long sleep!" Melissa tucks us in.
"Goodnight." We say back.
She leaves the room and we turn the lamps on.

"The party hasn't even started!" Maddie whisper-screams at me.

I smirk at her and say "yeaaah man!"

"Hang on, let me go downstairs and get some treats.." Maddie says to me.

5 minutes pass and I decide to get up and go help her.

Wait a minute.. Listen in..:

Melissa: Now you listen to me. You do not tell anyone about this abusing. Nobody!
Maddie: I won't!
Melissa: Oh, hoh hoh. Don't act like this innocent thing. You're a monster, Madison!
Maddie: W..w.we...I..I..
Melissa: YOU'RE NOT A BABY ANYMORE! IF YOU SAY A WORD ABOUT THIS, AND ALL THE OTHER ABUSEMENTS.. oh trust me you will regret it.

I go down stairs to see what's going on.

Melissa: DO YOU BLO-

Melissa starts to scream, but then notices me.

"Oh, hello sweetie. Um.. We're just.. You know. We're"- Melissa started to say. I heard a clunk on the bar and she walked to the drawer to get some lollies. As she walked off, I saw a metal whip spoon that she had hidden behind her back.

"What she was saying is that.. Well.. It's for the play. My drama school play." Maddie lied.

"Erm.. You quit in year 4."
I say.

"Here you go honey. Now go on upstairs." Melissa gives me the lollies and leads me and Maddie to the room.

When we get in the room, Maddie says,
"Uh.. I'm tired. We should just sleep.."
I shrug and say, "yeah, alright."

I grab my phone out from my pocket, plug my earplugs in and listen. I was recording the whole thing.

Poor Maddie..
But what was that?

I send it to my mother.

---- The next morning ----
"Morning girls." Melissa says to us.
"Good morning." I say.
"I'm excited!" Maddie says.

We get ready. This is going to be amazing!
