Dance Moms - Maddie's Struggle

I have now been released from the hospital.

A young handsome gentleman called 'Josh' and a gorgeous bubbly girl called 'Chloe' are now helping me and taking me home.

I don't even know where home is. Like.. who with? Where?

I think a Nurse came alon too because as I was settle into my room, I overhear them speaking.

"So Maddie has received brain ridicule and won't remember much. In a few days things with start flashing back and a week - tops - she will be her normal self."

I wonder what that means. And I understand that Maddie must be..me?

Later on, after I sit on my bed staring at the wall, Josh and Chloe come in holding some picture frames.

My eyes flash in despair.

Wow. Now it's coming! Jack.. and Grace. Oh that's Josh! And Chloe!

Josh looks at Chloe and says, "Chlo.. I think she's getting it.. Yes! Say something sweetie!"

Chloe smiles her beautiful gorgeous smile and I say, "Chloe" Then points at her and "Josh" then points at him.

Josh then pulls me into his arms and I feel a warm connection.

"That's right, honey, that's right." He smiles.

Then the doorbell goes. Chloe grabs my hand and takes me out the room to the door which Josh generously answers.

There is a lady with Grace and Josh. When Chloe showed me that picture, there was a group of us. Chloe was in it, and now with this lady.. there are 2 girls.

They say hello and then they introduce them to me.

The woman is Kelly.
Then Brooke is the oldest daughter.
Then there was also Paige.

I now remember an things are coming back to me fast.

"Hello. I'm Maddie."

Chloe's POV:

As Maddie speaks out, she sounds like she has just discovered speaking.

Ever heard of someone autistic speaking? That's how sweet Mad sounds.

I feel so bad but then agaIn.. she's speaking. She'll come back soon enough.

Well.. hopefully. I have some news.

4 Days Later.

- Note that Maddie is back to her normal self (: -

Josh, Grace, Jack and I are all sitting by the shell pool that we bought for the kids.

It's filled with water and now we're just getting the kids ready.

Josh is getting Jacks board shorts on and I'm getting Graces adorable pinky peach 1 piece bather. She looks adorable. Just as adorable as Jack looks in his bright orange and blue board shorts and no top.

I get my mobile phone and and take a photo of them together.

It's so sweet!

They then get in the pool and play with each other.

I have been dreaming of this day since I was a little girl. Being married to the man of my dreams with 2 children who get along like fish and chips.

I go inside to get some snacks and then the phone begins to ring.

I pick it up and then say,

"Hello, Madison speaking. Who's this?"

"Hi Madison, this is Liam from the DeputyPolice Academy Force. I just rang up to inform you about something."

"Sure! What is that about?"

"Your mom is Melissa Ziegler, right?"

I then get shocked at that question.

"Um, yes she is, actually."

"Yes, well she has actually been taken to the hospital. She should be repeating 9 years in jail but we have to cut it short for the reason that she is being treated in hospital as something is wrong."

I don't know how to respond.

Josh notices my face and rushes in.

"I'm sorry, are you there Ma'am?"

"Y-yeah, sorry.. I am. Uh, um.. which.. what hospital? I.. Yeah.."

"It is out down as.. Ocean Seaside Professional Hospital."

"Okay, thank you. I appreciate it."

After I told Josh about it.. we come to the decision that we Go and visit her.

Anyway, I would like to visit Rayna.

After we admin. at the reception, I go to my room that I was sent to when I was delivering.

As I guessed, Rayna was in there. She was so excited to see me even though she looked so tired and worn out. We spoke for a while and I promised I would visit 1 time every two weeks.

After I left from Rayna's room, I lead into Melissa's room.

A second before a take a step.. I hesitate.

Josh gives me the 'Honey-It's-Alright-Because-I'm-Here' look at it most certainly calms me down.

There she is.

She has no hair and she's so skinny.

Slowly a tear drops from my eye down my cheek, following on with a few more.

She's so..

Wait. How can I feel this?!! After all she's done! I force myself out of the room.

Well, I did visit her and that's hard enough. Her fault she was asleep. Not mine.

The next day I went to dance. We are leaning a dance for nationals which will be held in different areas of the world if we place in the top 10. This means going through America.. Europe and most excitedly Australia!

I was so excited! That means were all going on a holiday! With the kids! And Josh! And my friends!

So that also means in a few weeks we travel to a few places in Europe, if we place.. learn for Australia. If we place.. a mystery.
