Maddie's POV:
- BEEP BEEP -
I hear the heart monitor go off as my heart beats.
"W..w- wait. What happened?" I say to myself.
"Oh, hello Madison. How are you feeling?" Dr Sandero asks me. She is a young doctor that looks sort of like Holly.
I nod.
"Good, you're getting there. Do you remember anything that happened?"
I shake my head, disappointedly.
"Hm.. Before I tell you what happened," Dr Sandero says, before stopping to get a torch. She continues, "Follow this torch using your eye."
Dr Sandero shakes her head slightly.
"You were at Dance Ultimate Competition. You fainted..
Can you recall much of this?"
"N..not really.."
"We-," she starts but gets interrupted by a visitor that enters the room.
"MADDIE!" Chloe sort of talks, sort of screams.
"Chlo.." I say weakly.
"How are you Mad? We've missed you."
"So-so. Not bad, but not good, at all."
"Well," Chloe takes something from behind her back. "We won first place... You did amazing so you deserve this." She hands me the trophy.
"I..no, I can't take this. Keep it, ill be moving back soon. Right, Dr Sandero?" I say.
"Depending on your health. You have a check tonight, tomorrow you will also be here but, yeah." Dr Sandero replies.
Chloe smiles.
Chloe's POV:
All I see is pain in her eyes. Pain. Never ending.. Endless ongoing pain. Not faint paint but anorexia and unconventional mother support.
Maybe I can did out more. I get my bag out and sneakily get Maddie's phone and put it in my bag. It's for the better, believe me.
"Well,-" I hug Maddie, "Mum, Clara and I will visit tomorrow. Hope you get better." I smile her and blow a kiss. Oh," I give her some magazines. "Here, read these dance mags.
"Thanks Chlo!" I say, hoping to look cheery. "Ill miss you, thanks a lot!"

Tonight I decided to check on Maddie's phone. Her password... She told me at one of our sleepovers it was 2873. Who knows why. Hm... Text messages.
