Dance Moms - Maddie's Struggle

Sleepover

Chloe's POV:

We're now at Starbucks. I don't know what the other girls are feeling like, but I am scared for Abby.

I have this feeling - this strange urge that Abby.. she might pass. And I hate it when this happens because it stays in my mind forever and ever, it gets too long and it just clasps on and I can't let it go.

I know where this conversation is going - nowhere so I decide to start.

"Okay, what would you like girls?" I ask just to start something off.

2 x Chocolate Frappes
3 x Caramel Frappes
1 x Choc-Caramel Frappe
1 x Chai Coffee + froth

I go order up front and go back to the girls. A conversation has started!

"So, what are you girls talking about?" I ask, joining in.

"Our thoughts on the Hunger Games." Nia responded.

"Oh my goodness! I love the Hunger Games! I'm so Team Peeta!" I exclaim!

Maddie high fives me. "Same!"

"Uh uh, Peeta's cute but I love Gale!" Brooke says. Paige agreed with Brooke.

"What about you Kenz?" I ask her, because I can tell something's wrong. It wouldn't take a scientist to work out what.

Mackenzie is worried about Abby - and I can't blame her. Abby has been so protective of her, and I don't know how Kenz is going to go if it happens. Her beautiful eyes are all teary and her lips are red and big.

Out of concentration, Kenzie pulls out a name. "Um.. Harry Styles? Oh.. actually, Niall Horan."

Aw, the poor baby. I go sit next to her and hug her, and then to Kendall. I feel so sick in the stomach, and seeing Mackenzie and Kendall like this makes me feel worse. I hate this.

"Here are 2 Chocolate Frappes, 3 Caramel Frappes, A Choc-Caramel Frappe and a Chai Coffee with extra froth." The Starbucks waitress confronts us.
"By the way, I love you girls on Dance Moms! Huge fan!"

We all laugh. We love getting comments like those. "Thank you!! You're very sweet!"

Again, once the lady moves away the conversation gets quiet.

"Okay girls, I can't take this anymore. Abby is going to be okay! She's going to be fine! She's a strong woman, she can deal with this. Believe it. She will never let you girls go, she's here for you! You have to believe me.
Kenzie, chin up beautiful. Kendall, put on your gorgeous happy face. All of you girls, smile. I love to see your amazing faces!" Mom says, which really touches me.

The girls are now smiling which makes me feel happy, and I think they believe it.

"Guess what!" Mom says in suspense..

"I am going to be your dance teacher with Gia while Abby get better, hopefully she takes surgery and the disease is removed!!" She says excitedly.

Everyone cheers loudly!

Everyone sips on their drinks and they seem to feel a lot better! I think what mom said really relieved everyone.

All of a sudden, Moms phone starts to ring.

She mouths, it's Abby' as soon as she answered it.

I know that everyone would start to get nervous so mom moved away from our table and started a conversation.

"Um, so has anyone seen the Hunger Games: Catching Fire? I went with Brooke and Paigey into the IMAX theatre." I say.

"I've seen it, I went with some out of dance friends." Maddie says. "I came too Maddie." Mackenzie says.

"I went with my mom, and she invited Holly and Nia so they came along!"

"Wait, so everyone's seen it?" I ask. Everyone nods.

Then Mom comes approaching our table.
"Girls, I need to tell you all something."

"Go ahead." Kendall says.

"Abby Lee has decided to do surgery. They did some analysis and they said its safe to do so, there's only a long recovery process which can proceed within a few days which is willing to last for a few weeks." Mom says.

"So, she's going to survive?" Mackenzie asks, looking half relieved.

"Well, the way it looks at the moment.. yeah." Mom said.

We're all so happy! Thank goodness.

We head back home with out Starbucks and we all head on into the spa. It's so relaxing in there. We're all watching the beautiful sunset toward us, the gorgeous orange, yellow, red color as the sun moves down to the sea.

Mom comes in and brings some snacks to out on the convertible table in the middle. I cuddle on to my mom, and she cuddles onto me.

We talk for a bit and Maddie says she's going to bring Jack and Grace to dance on Monday.

Mom says that she's happy that Maddie is still willing to face and do road trips and sleepovers with the girls while you have kids.

"Always here for you!" Maddie says. "I'm always here for you."

So mom says she's going out to get some towels for us and to start dinner. Then Maddie asks me a question.

"How's the secret boy going?"

"Jason? We went on a date the other day, I told Mom about him. She seems pretty keen on him and I being together which is good."

"Oooh, oooh." Nia says in a dingy songy voice.

"I have met someone too. His name is Alex. He is the same age as me be we've been out a few times. I'll show you a photo in a second." Brooke says. She gives to phone to us and he looks cute.

Kendall blushes.

We all then decide to dry off, get out Jim Jams on and go to bed. We snuggle in out mattresses and we put a movie on.

A/N: Alright, Writers block!! I need some help for what bet or I may as well end the story soon. I will use 2 and mix them together but obviously change them into my words and you will get credit if chosen!
