 - "I'll tell you my sins so you can sharpen your knife." -

"Moon Sana?"

I stand up, as my name is being called. "Yes?"

A man, clothed into a white doctor uniform, smiles welcomingly and walks over to shake my sweaty hand.

I try to smile back but I feel my lips quivering.

You got this. You already did it.

"I welcome you to Arang hospital! I am Mr. Im, the head of this hospital." He still smiles and I feel calm immediately.

That must be the effect of a mental doctor, I think to myself.

One day, you'll be one too.

"Thank you so much that you picked out me. Out of all the other applicants."

"Yes, of course. I only heard the best things of you from your former teacher. Also", he adds and puts a sad smile on his face "Our previous intern has left. For good."

I furrow my eyebrows. "Why? Where did she go?"

It gets silent for a second. Then he smiles again and starts walking.

"Her patient is currently not under care. It will be your first case! Don't be nervous. There are lots of other sisters here, who will help you."

He smiles at my panicked expression.

I didn't know, I would actually be handed a patient on my first day.

This is fast.

"Well, for the beginning, you'd only have to talk to him. The pills and therapy will be handled by the other nurses."

"Pills? Therapy?" My voice fades a little.

"Yes. Don't worry about it. Although he's done horrible things, he is a calm patient."

What? Horrible... things?

"What is he in for?"

Mr. Im smiles again and stays quiet for a few seconds.

"He's calm. Not very talkative and he's been here for three years now. Take good care of him."

We soon reach a door, only a little glass to see through. My heartbeat quickens, when I realize, the door is quite thick and... soundproof?

Mr. Im speaks up again and I swallow harshly.

"Say hello to Kim Taehyung. He murdered his own brother."

"Tae!"

I turned around to see Jungkook silly dancing and laughed loudly.

I smiled my box grin. Wow. It's long ago, since I've last seen that.

"Jungkook-ah! Be careful."

He stoped and came running over the tracks in my direction, which resulted in me running too. I hear his laughter in my ears and he bumped into me, as he's faster than me. As always.

I didn't hesitate to jump on his back, as we were running and he immediately tried to shake me off and I just laughed in his ear, messing his hair up. I -

"Say hello to Kim Taehyung. He murdered his own brother."

My eyes shoot open and I feel myself staring at the ceiling. This is the side effect of the pills. They bring you to sleep. It makes your mind open, revealing new memories.

So that you can never forget.

I do want to forget.

It's impossible.

"Hello Kim Taehyung. My name is Moon Sana."

My eyes close again. Fine, now leave.

"My name is Moon Sana."

Kim Taehyung is lying on his bed. I can't really see him properly. He's lying there cover-less. Pillow-less. He lies in an embryo position and covers his head in his arms.

Mr. Im nudges me. I turn around and he nods curtly before leaving the room and closing the door on my face.

Now I'm trapped.

I step a little closer, only a little. I don't want to intrude his privacy.

Kim Taehyung has dark brown hair. That's all I can see.

"How are you, Taehyung?"

"Get out."

My eyes widen at his quick response and I stop, shocked.

"Huh?" It somehow escapes my mouth and he still lies there in silence. I feel my always sweaty hands getting sweaty again. Then I gulp.

"What was that?"

"Get out."

He states again, calmly with his deep voice, that makes chills run down my spine. I just stand there for a few seconds, staring at his frozen form. The tension gets thicker, I can feel it. I step back.

"Okay."

I silently mumble and make my way through the door again, tucking my hair behind my ear.

The door falls closed and I sigh out.

How am I going to do this?
