Chapter 10: The Picture

As the rain pour heavily outside of the place I stare at the window in front of me and slowly walk to the black door I slowly unlock the door and walk inside the floor creak as each step I took.

I light up the candle as slowly walk down to the stairs leading me to the old memories of us room. I stop in front of the white door and slowly turn the doorknob. I walk inside and walk toward the shelf of memories which full of albums photos of us in the past...

I get the grey one and unlock the key of it. A black, white and grey colors pictures were shown in it. I softly stroke the pictures of us back then...

The thunders flash loudly as my tears slowly fell down...

"The precious moments we share, are now precious memories..."

Jungkook's POV
"Jungkook! It's time to wake up!" I heard a voice yelled and I groan rolling around my bed. "15 minutes please..." I mumble and someone pull my leg my head hit the floor and I sat up rubbing the place where it hurt.

"Oww! That's hurt!" I yelled and saw Jin hyung glaring at me. "Don't raise your voice at me, young man. Wake up now! We have school!" He said and I sighs standing up going into the bathroom.

I did my morning routine and went downstair. We eat our breakfast walk to school. "There aren't any cases today?" J-hope hyung said feeling bored. "That's fine, at least we got some rest" Namjoon hyung said.

We arrive at school. We walk into our class and I sat down at my seat huffing out as I stare out the window boringly. When looking outside I saw the blonde hair girl sitting at the bench. She never let go of the umbrella... When I was about to stand up a annoying voice came...

"Jungkook oppa! Where have you been?! Don't you know I missed you so much!" She said in her oh-so girly voice and cling onto my arm I frown and lightly grab my arm away from her.

"Do I know you, please leave me alone" I said harshly and walk pass her. I walk to Haru's class and knock on the classroom door. The boy from few days ago came.

"Hello!" He said with bright smile. "Is Haru here?" I said and he look back at the class and frown. "No... I think she is absent... Sorry" he said and my heart sank... Why? "It's okay, see you" I said and walk back to class feeling down very down...

She's not here... Non the Cat Thief case. I sighs and walk to my seat letting my head rest on the desk. "What's wrong maknae?" V hyung said looking at me and I hum in respond.

"Haru is absent... I want to see her..." I said sadly and he pat my head giving me comforting smile. "Don't worry, I'm sure she will come to school tomorrow" he said and I smile.

"Okay.." I said and our homeroom teacher came. We get back to our seats and focus on his lesson.

Recess

I walk to the cafeteria with the others. I feel so empty today... While we were getting in line ordering our foods. The cafeteria put kimchi, chicken soup, a bowl of rice, seasoned fish and a apple.

I walk to the others and sat down V hyung handed me my sprite. "Cheer up, maknae" Suga hyung said eating his noodles. I just nodded and eat my foods silently as the others talks and make some jokes.

While I was almost done eating I saw the blonde hair girl walking with a raven?! Beside her. I stare at her and saw her using the small gate that is hidden behind a bush. I stood up and run toward the garden door where she is at. I saw her walking and I breath heavily from all the running.

"Wait... Don't walk away! I have a question!" I said and she stop walking. "Who are you actually? Why are you here? And do you now who Haru is?" I said and slowly walk toward her.

She just stay silent and handed me a picture. I stare at it and heard the gate open up and close. I look up from the picture and saw black feather on the ground I slowly walk toward the gate and already saw her disappear from my vision going into the forest path. I sighs and walk back to the others.

"Jungkook, where did you go?" Jin hyung said and I look at them. "Nothing I just... Saw a butterfly! Yes a butterfly!" I said and they stare at me with poker faces. "Oh... And what is that on your hand?" Jimin hyung said and I look at the picture the blonde girl gave me.

"Uh... I will be at the rooftop" I said and walk out of the cafeteria and walk to the rooftop. I sat down on the cold ground and start looking at the picture carefully. It was black, white and grey.

A picture of two girls and two adults which I think is the parents. What does this picture got? I think it's trying to tell me a hint... I turn to the back of the picture and saw writing behind it.

To my dearest husband and daughters.

I'm sorry... That I couldn't live longer. My illness was slowly taking over my body. The doctor said I only have 5 days left. I hope you will be doing fine without me. Please take care of each other.

I love you, my Honey and Sweethearts.

I didn't saw a name who write this words. I just sighs and look at the sky. "What is this?" I said and close my eyes slowly.

A sound of music box playing and pictures of memories were put onto each pages of the albums books. A black hair girl and blonde hair girl were smiling brightly to their parents.

"You girls seem happy. Why is that?"

"Because we get to go picnic with you guys!"

The laughter which is full of happiness...

Will they return back to me?

"Jungkook!" I open my eyes and saw Hakyeon hyung? "Hakyeon hyung? Why are you here?" I said and he sighs. "I was walking to the rooftop and saw you mumbling to yourself so I decide to wake you up and class is starting" he said and my eyes widened.

"Has the bell rang yet?" I said and he shook his head. "5 more minutes left, I think we should go back to class now" he said and I nodded as I stood up.

I look at the picture and look at Hakyeon hyung. "Hyung... Can you analysis this picture..." I said and he look at me. Then slowly grab the picture. "A blonde hair girl gave it to me and don't forget to read the words at the back of the picture, hyung" I said and he nodded.

"Well see you around!" He said and run back to his class and I did the same.

The picture seem familiar...
