Roadtrip

Later that day, Tyler and Josh came out of Tyler's room. They were laughing and cheering. Jenna and Alyssa had been folding laundry. "We're going on a tour!" Tyler yelled.

"WHAT?" Alyssa and Jenna said at the same time.

Josh and Tyler kept cheering and didn't say anything to the girls. When they finally calmed down, Tyler explained, "We are taking another tour across America! It starts in August!"

Jenna hugged him and congratulated them both. Alyssa thought, Tour? That's amazing! I'm happen for them. But...what's going to happen to me? I'll have school and they'll have to take me with them. Will I be a distraction? I don't want to do that!

Tyler turned to Alyssa. "Hey, you're coming too. It'll be fun!" He said.

"But what about school?" She asked.

Josh suggested, "We can get you a tutor. We'll figure it out. Don't worry."

Alyssa let it soak in. Tyler and Josh were going on tour and she was going with them.

The first show was on Friday, August 5th. It would be in Baltimore and they'd take their tour bus all across America! Alyssa had never left Ohio so this was exciting. She'd get to visit California, Washington DC, even Florida! It'd be a lot of traveling, but Alyssa wanted to go.

The tour bus would pick them up on August 4th and they'd go on a 6 hour drive to Baltimore. Alyssa packed her suitcases with clothes and packed her backpack with a few books, her iPod, and a deck of cards. The closer August 4th came, the better. She couldn't wait!

On the night before the trip, Alyssa checked her bags. When she made sure that she had everything, she leaned her suitcases and backpack against the wall and opened her phone's camera. She took a selfie and posted it on Instagram. The caption said, I'm so excited to be traveling across America! Maybe I'll meet some of you guys! Alyssa pressed "Share" and read the incoming comments. They all said things like, Don't let Josh and Tyler do anything crazy! and Maybe I'll see you at the show!

Alyssa laughed and closed her phone. She climbed into bed with a smile on her face.

The next morning, Alyssa woke up at 8 to the sound of her alarm. She leaped out of bed and threw on a red shirt, black jeans, and her bracelets. Alyssa quickly brushed her hair and ran down the stairs, bumping into Jenna. "Woah, you okay there?" Jenna laughed.

Alyssa nodded, "Yeah. I just can't wait to get going."

She poured herself a bowl of Apple Jacks and looked out the kitchen window. The tour bus waited in the street! Alyssa ate her cereal quickly and went outside. Tyler and Josh were loading equipment onto the bus with the help of some workers. They waved to her and Alyssa jogged across the yard to them. "Need any help?" She asked.

Tyler answered, "Well, we're just about finished so all we need to do is load the suitcases and we'll be good to go!"

"I'll go get my bags!" Alyssa said as she went back inside.

She brought her suitcases and backpack down stairs and helped the boys with their bags. They showed her around the tour bus, then they were on the road! As the bus turned onto the main road, Alyssa looked out the window at the house. She was going to miss it, but she was happy to be going on tour with her family.

When they got on the freeway, Alyssa took out her cards and played a few games of war with Jenna. Tyler and Josh looked on. After that, Alyssa decided to answer some DMs on Instagram. She figured some of her followers had asked her questions. Some of the questions asked things like What is your favorite TØP song? She clicked on one and read it. It said Hey, its Miranda. You got rid of your old phone I assume but I can message you anytime on Instagram. I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be at the show tomorrow with Jasmine and we got backstage passes to meet TØP. We'll see each other then.

Alyssa wasn't sure what to do. She could block Miranda, but that would cause more trouble. She didn't want that. Alyssa decided to stay away from the Meet and greet area after the show. She could wait on the tour bus for Tyler! It'd be fine!

But it still bothered her. Alyssa ignored it the best she could. She read a book, answered more messages, and played on the Xbox with Josh. Around noon, they ate sub sandwiches for lunch. Noone noticed that something was bothering her. For the rest of the ride, they rested and didn't speak much. So Alyssa had more time to think.

She could see the show, then go straight to the bus or, she could just keep out of the way at the Meet and Greet. Alyssa sighed and hoped that the other fans were nice.
