The Pills

MAJOR Trigger Warning- Suicidal Thoughts

Alyssa left the restroom and went back to the Meet and Greet room. Tyler and Josh were talking to the last fans. "Is everything ok?" Jenna asked Alyssa when she returned.

Alyssa nodded. "Yeah. Just a little stomach ache. I'm better now," She lied.

The remaining fans left and Tyler gave Josh a high five. "Great show man," Tyler said.

"Same to you," Josh smiled.

They headed back to the tour bus, eager to get some sleep at the hotel. When they got to the hotel, Alyssa took the first shower. After, she climbed into bed and checked her Instagram. Josh asked her, "Hey. Are we going to watch Stranger Things tonight?"

Alyssa wasn't in the mood. She just wanted to sleep. Turning over to look at Josh, she said, "Uh...I think I should get some rest. I'm really tired."

"Okay. That's fine. Good night, Alyssa," Josh nodded.

Alyssa listened to music and tried to fall asleep. But when she opened her eyes and checked the time, it was only 11:30! Great, another long night. She thought. Everyone else was sleeping. Tyler had an arm wrapped around Jenna. Josh lightly snored in the chair.

TRIGGER BEGINS

They don't care about you. Noone does. Miranda's words repeated over and over in Alyssa's head. She took a deep breath and got out of bed. Quietly, Alyssa walked over to the bathroom. She shut the door and turned on the light. Alyssa opened a cabinet and saw a bottle of pills. She held the bottle tightly in her hand.

Life would be so much easier for everyone if I wasn't here. Alyssa thought. Her hands shook as she opened the bottle. I could end it all right now. She told herself. Alyssa opened the bottle and stared at the pills. If she ended her life, noone would have to worry about her. It'd be easier for everyone.

But...would they care if she was gone? They might be sad for a bit. But Alyssa didn't think their sadness would last for long. Then she thought of someone who would miss her alot...Tyler. What would he do if Alyssa ended her life?

Alyssa set the bottle down and left the bathroom. She quietly walked over to Tyler's side of his bed. "Tyler?" She whispered.

Tyler rolled over and looked at his sister. "What's up?" He asked.

Alyssa didn't answer right away. Tyler sat up and took another glance at her. He knew something was up. "I...I thought about it..." Alyssa tried to say.

"Thought about what? Hurting yourself?"

"N-no. Worse..."

Tyler nodded. Hugging her close, he asked Alyssa, "Can you tell me what happened?"

Alyssa explained what Miranda and Jasmine had said. She also told him about the pills. Tyler went to the bathroom to get the pills. He threw the bottle into his suitcase. Sitting down again, he said, "I'm glad you told me. I can contact those girls' parents and tell them what happened. They should never do that to anyone."

Alyssa hoped that no other TØP fans would find out. As if he read her thoughts, Tyler said, "Noone will know. I promise."

She smiled and thanked him. Sleep was what Alyssa wanted most now. When she went back to her bed, Tyler sat with her until she fell asleep.
