Stay Alive

Disneyland part 2

After riding Tower of Terror, they rode the Cars ride and the Grizzly Creek Rapids. Then, they left California Adventure to go to the Disneyland side. Alyssa looked at the map and asked, "Can we go on Hyperspace Mountain first?"

Daisy, the guide, said, "I can let you guys skip the line. It's about an hour wait right now."

They went through the exit and waited for a few minutes to get on the ride. Tyler wanted to sit next to Alyssa in the front. So Jenna and Josh said they'd sit in the second seat. The car came to a stop and Daisy let them on the ride.

The ride began. They made a right turn and climbed a hill. The main theme for Star Wars played. Tyler and Alyssa sang along at the top of their lungs. Alyssa's singing turned into screaming and cheering when the ride gained speed. There were TIE Fighters and X-Wings flying all over. Alyssa felt like she was in an actually battle!

The ride ended and they had lunch at the pizza place by Hyperspace Mountain. Alyssa only needed one slice because the slices were huge! Jenna asked her, "So what do you think of Disneyland?"

Alyssa smiled, "It's amazing! The rides are fun, the pizza is good, and I'm happy!"

Tyler's face brightened at her comment. He was glad she was so happy. Josh pulled the map out of his pocket and opened it up. He flattened it on their table. He said that there were some rides that he wanted to go on that were close by.

Following lunch, they rode Star Tours and then Matterhorn. Big Thunder Mountain was next. Josh, who was sitting next to Tyler, behind the girls, leaned across his seat and yelled in Alyssa's ear, "I AM SUPERMAN!"

Alyssa sat with Josh on the Haunted Mansion. Tyler had wanted to sit with Jenna for the Haunted Mansion. "Because he wants to kiss her in the dark," Alyssa whispered to Josh, making him laugh.

On the ride, Alyssa took out her phone to record a video for her Instagram story. As she held the record button, the cars turned and Alyssa could see Tyler and Jenna in their car. Tyler leaned over and kissed Jenna. "THAT WAS CUTE!" Alyssa called as the cars finished turning.

Josh looked at her phone and wondered, "Did you get that?"

Alyssa made sure she did and added a caption. It said, I honestly wasn't expecting that. She posted it and yelled over the music, "Tyler, you're going to love my Instagram story!"

Tyler called back, "WHAT DID YOU DO?"

Some people on the other cars looked in Tyler's direction with confused faces. He sunk low into his car and Jenna gave him a kiss.

Tyler looked at Alyssa's Instagram story when they got off the ride. "Perfect timing," He commented.

They walked around and Tyler bought Alyssa a black "Haunted Mansion" shirt. Jenna bought a glass, white cup with the 3 ghosts -from the end of the ride- on the cup. When they finished shopping, they went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Alyssa sat between Tyler and Josh. The 3 of them chanted, "Yo ho! Yo ho! A pirate's life for me!"

Jenna recorded it and put her phone away right before the first drop. She was lucky that her phone wasn't soaked. Alyssa and the boys sang for nearly the whole ride. Splash Mountain was next. Alyssa sat in the front with Jenna, Tyler, and Josh behind her.

The picture was one of the most random things Alyssa had ever seen. She was screaming and looking at the drop in front of them. Jenna had wrapped Alyssa into a hug and smiled directly at the camera. Tyler made a derpy face while Josh raised his arms and showed off his muscles for the camera. "Beautiful picture," Alyssa said.

They had dinner at a hamburger place close to Splash Mountain. Alyssa put her Minnie Mouse sweatshirt over her shirt that was soaking wet. Tyler said, "I know a good place to watch the fireworks."

Alyssa asked, "Where?"

"You'll see," He said.

They road the Indiana Jones ride and Tyler said he wanted to go back to California Adventure.  Alyssa's feet were sore and she didn't really want to walk all that way. But she was curious about Tyler's idea. After all, they wouldn't be able to see the fireworks!

But Tyler took them to the Ferris Wheel and Alyssa knew his idea. They got in a cart and went up and up and up. The fireworks started and Alyssa could see them well up where they were! When the fireworks ended and they got off the Ferris Wheel, she said, "Thank you guys for taking me here. This is literally the best day ever!"

Tyler gave her a hug and said, "Of course! I had a lot of fun too. Now let's head back to the hotel and get some sleep."

They walked back to the bus. Tyler had an arm on Alyssa's shoulder. Josh took a picture of them. He posted it with the simple caption, It's been a fun day.
