When we are young we love stories of fantasy.
We love the variety they bring,
and the adventure they bring from the monotony of history or reality.
When we get older the love we have grows into something more. We still love the adventure and variety,
but we also love the distraction.
Reality hits us very hard when we emerge wide eyes into the real world.
The stories, the fantasy, the adventure serve as a distraction from
the heaviness the world brings.
The pages become and escape
and a safe haven were we can breathe easier for just a little bit.
