"This has to be a new low, Ty. First you push our boy Joshy away, then when Lana comes to you for help you
push her away as well.""Shut up."
"Thanks to you, Josh is kicked out of his own house. His parents probably will hate him for the rest of his life. Also, what about poor, sweet Lana. You flat out told her she isn't good enough. Do you know what that can do to people? Oh wait you do, so why would you tell that to someone? You know how it feels. So tell me, Ty, why are you trying to hurt the people who actually give you the time of day? You know you're not worth it."
"Shut up! Shut up!" Tyler yelled with his hands over his ears. He was on the ground, leaning against the wall. He tried to hold back tears but failed when he could feel Blurry ripping into his mind. Calling the pain 'unbearable' would be an understatement.
"Please," Tyler whimpered as he looked up to Blurry who stared back with a smirk. He had Tyler right where he wanted him, and they both knew it. "'Please' what? What do you want?" Blurry said, enjoying seeing Tyler so pathetic and hopeless.
"Please, just take the..the pain away..."
"Well, if I must."

Josh was really worried when Tyler wasn't on the bus to go to school. He was ranting to Halsey all morning, even a bit in first period. He could tell she was trying her best to act equally concerned but her feelings toward Tyler hadn't changed. She still thinks he is no good and doesn't deserve someone like Josh to be worrying about him.
Josh was very anxious when lunch came. He kept looking around to see if Tyler would just stroll up. "Maybe he was freaked out by what happened the other night," he muttered to himself. Halsey heard him and saw it as her duty to reassure him, "Josh, you told me he was super into it until that last bit...I mean, I'm sure-" "There he is," Josh said a little too excited and stood up equally too fast.
"Hey," Josh said with a smile that quickly dropped when Tyler didn't even pay him any mind. He walked right past Josh and was headed toward Lana's table. "What the fuck," Halsey said while staring daggers at Tyler. Josh sat back down looking defeated. The logical side of him said 'There is probably a reason. Tyler wouldn't just do that for no reason' then the hopeless romantic side said 'He hates me! He thinks I'm a weirdo!'
Meanwhile, Tyler tapped on the shoulder of one of the guys sitting by Lana. He looked up looking annoyed but when he saw who it was his expression dropped. "Move," Tyler said and the guy moved as quickly as he could. He sat down and put his arm around Lana. She stared at him, obviously confused. He leaned in and kissed her, which really was just because Blurry knew Josh was looking.
"What about yesterday?"
"I was being an idiot. How could I ever choose some pansy over someone like you."
She smirked and went for another kiss. This one was a bit longer which he didn't particularly care for but he needed to hold out the act for Joshy.
When the bell rang, Tyler walked to his next class with his arm on Lana's shoulder. They were undeniable the most "powerful" couple in the whole school. People got out the way when they walked and no one dared try speaking to them. Well, no one besides the blue haired boy who actually cared for Tyler.
"Hey, Tyler!" he called out which made Tyler stop and turn around. He laughed as if trying to stifle his anger, "What do you want?" Josh felt even more awkward than he already did, "Well, um..." Tyler rolled his eyes, obviously getting annoyed, "Come out with it. I don't exactly have all day, Joshy." He was taken back by the nickname but went on, "Well...I thought..we were, you know.." This is what really got Tyler to break out into laughter but put on a straight face again, "Like I would actually have feelings for some fag." He turned back around and continued walking with Lana.
Josh felt sick, he never heard anyone call him that before. He really wasn't expecting to hear it from Tyler, the guy who literally made out with him. 'That bastard,' he thought while hiding in a stall, 'Why would he- wait...Oh God...no, no, no that isn't Tyler.' He wiped away the tears from his eyes, now remembering about the demon Tyler told him about. He had been looking through all his grandma's old books that explained how to get rid of things like Blurryface. Just in the moment of heartbreak it didn't even occur to him. His sorrow was replaced with determination to save Tyler.
Meanwhile in class, Lana turned to Tyler, "That was a little harsh back there. I mean, you did kinda lead him on." Tyler turned to her with a cold, careless expression, "That really doesn't concern you, now does it?" She shot back the same look, "You don't need to be a prick about it." He just winked at her with a cocky grin as a reply.
Blurry had made some obviously mistakes that would alarm both Lana and Josh even if he wasn't acting completely different. For starters, he wasn't wearing his usual floral shoes, and often when he doesn't wear the shoes he wears a floral shirt. Which none of which were there. Now this could have been just because they were dirty so this red flag could pass easily. Also, he looked way more tired than usual. Tyler seemed like he hadn't had a good night sleep in weeks.
Lastly, what really is the biggest sign is he literally can't stay still. For example, his hands would sometimes twitch randomly or even his whole head would twitch. Which often follows with him rubbing the back of his neck and shutting his eyes tightly.
It would take some voodoo magic to save Tyler at this point. Good thing Josh has about 5 books dedicated to precisely that.
