I Need Your Help To Take Him Out

Josh was starting to worry when he was getting close to the end of the last book. If it wasn't in the last few chapters then he would have to thumb through all of the other books in a desperate attempt that something would jump out at him. Luckily, it never came to that. The third to last chapter was solely dedicated demons like Blurryface. Josh read it quickly but carefully. A huge smile spread across his face when he reads exactly how to save Tyler.

While he was readying more into it, he heard his phone go off. He checked and it showed 'Tyler' was calling. He answered hesitantly, "Hello?" There was no talking at first, just the person on the other line sniffing and quietly crying. Josh took a deep breath, trying to not panic. He needed to keep a level head with this monster or else he might become a victim just like Tyler. He repeated, "Hello?" This time he heard Tyler's voice say, "Please come over, I wanna talk." Something in Josh desperately was hoping somehow Tyler defeated Blurry already but he knew even though the voice on the other line sounds like Tyler it is far from. Josh quickly hung up, grabbed the book, and ran out the house.

He just grabbed Halsey's car keys without asking or telling. He thought about getting her to just give him a ride but knew she wouldn't just stay in the car. She would want to try and help which really wouldn't help in this situation. The book says the person being possessed had to be surrounded by people they felt comfortable with, which in Tyler's case is only Josh.

He drove as fast as he could over to Tyler's house. No cars where in the driveway besides Tyler's which most likely meant Tyler was the only one home. Josh slowly opened the door, surprised it was even open. He rushed up the stairs and swiftly opened the door. What he saw made him almost throw up.

There on the ground was a blood covered Tyler who was smiling up at Josh with pride. His thighs were cut deeply and blood was gushing out. "Aren't I pretty?" he said humorously as he slowly stood up. His legs were shaky, so he had to hold onto the bed for support. "W-What did you do...Oh God," Josh said while raising a hand to his mouth. He just couldn't believe his eyes. He knew he had to stay calm though if he wanted to win. He removed his hands and stood tall to show how he wasn't scared.

"L-Lets cut to the chase," Tyler said with a weak voice, "Seeing Ty so helpless does something for you, right? That's why you are here...you were expecting to get something out of this, right?."

"Yeah, what I want is to save Tyler."

"Yep, then maybe get a little extra after. I mean, he'll be so grateful he would do anything for you...even give up his virginity. I say, we skip the middle man and jump right to it. If you let me stay, this body is all yours."

"You're pathetic."

This one small sentence completely took Blurryface back. "What do you mean I am pathetic?" he started to get angry, "No one talks to me like that, you cunt." Josh played off a sly smirk, "You're so desperate, you would even offer to be my little sex toy. I don't know about you, but that is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard."

Tyler fell back to the ground then looked back up at Josh. The roles have switched. Josh was now the one acting like this was just some joke, while Tyler just wanted to kill him. "You piece of shit, do you even know who I am?!" Tyler yelled. Josh sat down in the desk chair as if this was some boring game he had to play with a child. "Yeah," he laughed, "I know who you are. Some demon who can't-" Tyler cut him off by yelling, "'Some demon'?! I have a name, you shit-" Josh returned the favor by cutting him off right back, "Yeah, a name not even worth saying. Now back to what I was saying, some demon who can't even survive without feeding off of some poor kid's insecurities. Now, I had to read about a bunch of different types of super natural creatures..and I gotta say, what you are is the saddest." Josh started laughing, "I mean, for the love of God, you can't exist without a source to feed on! You can't even stand alone!"
