I pulled on some skinny jeans and a t-shirt, and then pulled on a grey tube neck sweater over top.
I dragged a brush through my hair, embarrassed at how it had probably looked when I when I visited Adam.
After locking my door, I walked down the hallway and exited the building through the front door.
Adam was already waiting, sitting on a bench under a street light.
When he noticed me standing there, the stood up quickly and smiled shyly.
"Hey," he said, almost a whisper.
"Hi," I grinned blushing.
"So uh...should we take my car or yours?"
he said, a moment of awkward silence later.
"Erm...I don't know,"
"Lets take mine," He suggested.
"Okay," I grinned.
We headed towards the parking lot.
Adam scratched the back of his neck.
"So, do you uh...work?" He asked.
"Yeah," I said. "I..." I trailed off, blushing.
"What?" He laughed. "You're not a hobo, are you?"
I laughed.
"No...I...I design computer stuff for people. Lame huh?"
Adam smiled ear to ear.
"No, that's cool!"
"Nah," I said, blushing again. I wondered if there was a way to control that.
"No, really," he said.
We reached his old black Mustang, and he unlocked it. He climbed in the drivers side, and I took the passenger seat.
After a few minutes we turned at an intersection, and the headlights illuminated a field of trees with a gravel path winding into it. A few tall lamps were placed on regular intervals along the path, giving it a warm aura.
He pulled in the parking lot and unlocked the doors, turning off the car.
After a few minutes, the headlights turned off and it was dark except for the glow from the street lamps in the park.
He opened his door, and I did the same, stepping out into the cold night.
<>I was enchanted to meet you too<>
