All Things Bright an Beautiful (Owl City Fanfic)

I screamed as loud as I could (which was pretty loud). So loud my landlord was probably deaf. I covered my mouth to keep myself from screaming again, or I'd be evicted for sure.

I looked down at my hands again a saw the word "Owl City" staring back at me.

They were concert tickets.

I jumped up and down excitedly, my dark blonde hair getting in my face. Hey, I know it's silly for a 25 year old woman, but I had to or I'd explode.

I was really going to an Owl City concert!!!!

My sweet old mother, who lived in Victoria, British Columbia had gotten me my dream come true and mailed it all the way to Duluth, Minnesota, accompanied with the words:

Happy birthday Clo. I saw these concert tickets on line (I finally figured out to work the darn thing) and knew you loved the band, and that the concert was in Thunder Bay, Ontario which is close to where you live.

Hope you have a great birthday. Sorry I couldn't be there.

Mom.

I was so excited! At this time on Saturday night I would be rocking in a stuffy concert hall, listening to the sweet heaven that is Owl City.

I proceeded to write my mother a very long and extensive thank you letter (which mostly consisted of thank you's).

After this was done, I sealed my letter and put it on my desk. I would mail it tomorrow when I drove to Thunder Bay for the concert.

Suddenly an idea struck me. It was a crazy barbaric idea. Even if I went through with it it would probably fail miserably.

But it was worth a shot.

A bent down, pulled the cleanest and flattest piece of paper I could find out of my desk, picked up a purple pen and started writing.

"Dearest Adam..."

*ooh, a cliffhanger on the first chapter. Don't worry, I'll probably publish chapter one and chapter two (and maybe even chapter three) together.

So anyway if you're looking for Owl City/romance scenes, don't worry, they'll be starting soon. Hope you like my story, and I'll attempt finish it, but I can't make any promises (;. Lol the authors note is almost longer than the actual chapter. Sorry about that, I'll try to make long chapters from now on.
