After we got out of the car, I locked it, and we started down the path towards the middle of the small forest. It was silent as we walked, and when we came to a bench by the path I didn't even have to ask her if she wanted to sit down, We just both sat down.

I looked at her, and she looked at me. After a few minutes it seemed like time stopped as we stared into each others eyes, her hazel ones aglow from the streetlight. Our faces drew closer together and...a clap of thunder awakened us from our trance, and we both blushed scarlet.

A few raindrops landed on the bench beside us, and we both leapt to our feet. We darted towards the car, but we hadn't realized how long we'd been walking, so when it started pouring, we were only about halfway there.

I stopped, unzipped my jacket, and held it out over Cloe's head.

"Oh Adam, no!" She said shaking her head. "Keep your jacket, what If you get a cold before your concert?"

I saw her point, but I refused to take the jacket back.

She kissed me on the cheek, and we both blushed again, then dashed towards the car. I unlocked it, my t-shirt getting soaked, and held open the door for Cloe. She smiled at me, jumped in, and I circled around and got in the drivers side.

"Cloe, I'm really sorry," I said as she gave me back my coat.

"It's okay," she smiled. "It's not your fault it had to rain. And that was really nice,"

We sat there for a moment in silence before I started the ignition and we drove off into the sunrise.
