This one's a bit of a song but I haven't entirely worked out the tune and it's nice in poetic form too, so here it is.
I spent the morning
Looking at you,
Feeling miserable
'Cause when you're sad, I am too.Every twitch of the face
Every move that you made
Affected me in some way...When you smile,
And I can see that it's sincere,
For a while
All my troubles disappear,
But when you stare
At your hands
With a sad, faroff gaze,
I feel a pain in my chest
As my broken heart breaks.I spent the afternoon thinking of you
Feeling awful
And longing
And it's nothing new.Every fake smile you donned
Every time that you yawned
Made clear to me that you're not moving on...When you smile,
And I can see that it's sincere,
For a while
All my troubles disappear,
But when you stare
At your hands
With a sad, faroff gaze,
I feel a pain in my chest
As my broken heart breaks.I spent the whole night
Crying 'bout you,
And I couldn't sleep
Just knowing that neither could you.Every time you hung your head
Every hidden tear you shed
Showed you rather it'd been you instead...When you smile,
And I can see that it's sincere,
For a while
All my troubles disappear,
But when you stare
At your hands
With a sad, faroff gaze,
I feel a pain in my chest
As my broken heart breaks.
Well, it was staring to mend,
But now, once again, it breaks.
